Family owned and operated, we love camping. Gathering for family reunions and camping, we upgraded both campers and want to share great family fun, with guests. Coming here for years, our family has explored the area, and relaxing with the kids and grand ma and grand pop around the fire pit making s'mores, has made great memories. My brother and I want you to make great memories also camping.

Why Jennifer chose Horntown

Located a short drive to Chincoteague and the famous Chincoteague Ponies, you will be among nature, wildlife and miles of expansive beaches. Chincoteague local Art Galleries, and decoy makers will make shopping in the many unique shops an all day pleasure. Ocean City Maryland is about a 35-45 minute drive. The famous Boardwalk, restaurants and rides will make a great day trip, with many festivals and night life to enjoy. Our rates are very reasonable and our new bunk house campers sleep 8, comfortably with queen bed, click down couch and four roomy private bunkhouse.
What makes this Recreational Vehicle unique
We have a fire pit on the lots, plenty of great times can be had roasting marshmallows, hotdogs or s'mores, on the open fire. Large picnic table seats all your family and friends. The campground Resort has Olympic Pool, Kiddie Pool, Marina, large crabbing Pier, Restaurant, new Playground, activities for adults and Kids in the Club house, Nature Trail, and music and bands at the Pavilion most weekends. Bring your boat, kayak, canoe or jet ski to enjoy the local waters. Fishing and crabbing is outstanding, and if per chance you don't get that bushel of crabs or cooler full of fish the local crab man and fish mongers will get you that memorable meal.

We really enjoyed our stay.
The property was very adequate for our needs. Nice grill, picnic table, and fire pit. Our girls loved the community pool. The trailer was clean and comfortable. Everything was provided for us. All we had to do was enjoy it and we did!
We enjoyed our stay at trails end in horntown VA. The camper we attend in was very well stocked .
Our over all experience was great. The camper was very clean and accommodating. Everyone was very friendly . The camp ground was a quiet and relaxing place. Our host Della was exceptionally helpful . She had many recommendations for us for fun things in the area. It was a great stay and we would love to stay again!
My mom and I spent a weekend in the camper, it was so very clean, plenty of room, it was nice to have toilet paper, paper towels, sheets, towels, soap, something to wash dishes, pretty much just bring personal items and you're all set. The camper does seem to be very new. Now, the campground is a bit eclectic as there are people that live there full time, the drive to get to the camper was a little confusing at first. Please eat at Ocean Deli on the road to Chincoteague, it was so good we ate both our dinners there!
Long walks on miles of beaches, local unique shops, many local seafood restaurants and sellers. Crabbing, clamming, fishing and local attractions.
