Cozy, clean, friendly, fabulous acreage surrounding property

  • 5 of 5

We loved Rising Fawn Cottage! The owners were extremely responsive and friendly as we were making reservations and as we had questions approaching our stay. The cottage was well-appointed and very clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay there. The land the cottage is on was perfect for our kids to run around and explore, and I enjoyed an exhilarating trail run on the bike trail Phil has forged on the property. Lastly, it was very convenient to Covenant College and Lookout Mountain and the activities we were attending there. Thank you, Phil and Jodi (and dogs!), for sharing your beautiful property with us! We’ll be back!

Cozy cabin tucked in the mountains

  • 4 of 5

The cabin was super cozy and tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet the drive was short and scenic to both cloudland canyon and rock city. Loved the sweet dogs visiting us. Wasn't aware that there wasn't cable but was glad to get unplugged for awhile..we cooked, listened to music and played games in the evenings. Would definitely return!

Owner's Response: We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Rising Fawn Cottage!! We think this is the perfect location for those who want to "unplug" and be surrounded by nature but still close enough to enjoy Chattanooga and the surrounding area! We do not have cable but we do have wifi and a Smart TV. We are sorry if this was confusing. We hope to see you again in the future!

Ironman Chattanooga 2017

  • 5 of 5

What can I say about this little cottage? It was simply beautiful. I was competing in Ironman Chattanooga. We were close enough to Chattanooga and far away enough from the City. The owners were amazing.

Pihillipe came and checked on us to make sure everything was perfect. If we come back again for another Ironman Chattanooga event.. we will stay again.
