Our recently remodeled home is close to all the charm that Cortland Avenue has to offer. It's also near Bernal Hill, which has amazing views, and the highway, for folks wanting easy access to the south bay. My place is great for couples, business travelers, and families. We have a washer and dryer, and street parking is plentiful (at most you'll need to walk a block; just don't leave valuables in your car).
For more info on Bernal, do an internet search for "Bernal Heights" and "new york times."
The upstairs master bedroom has a queen bed and a television (with a Roku attached). The other upstairs bedroom has a full bed and a television with a Chromecast attached. Downstairs there is one bedroom (with a queen bed) with an attached, private full bathroom (with a shower). This downstairs room does not have a television.
The living room, recently renovated kitchen, and another full bathroom (with a tub) are also upstairs. We also have a small backyard and a little outdoor landing.
Although there is no television in the common area upstairs, there is a projector which turns the upstairs into an amazing little movie theater.
Also in the common area is a couch where someone can sleep and, if need be, a very comfortable air mattress. Assuming two people are in each actual bed, and one person on the couch and air mattress, my house can sleep eight.
Note that we're not within walking distance of many tourist hotspots. Those places are easily accessible via the bus, BART or Uber/Lyft, but not walkable.
-Please remove your shoes when you're in the house.
-If you are throwing out large amounts of trash/recycling/compost, put it directly into the bin in the garage. In the kitchen, the trash is the silver bin and the recycling is the plastic bin.
-Do not flush anything other than toilet paper in the toilet.
-No smoking of any kind inside.
-To open the front door lock press the “Schlage” button and enter the code I have given you. Be sure to leave the bottom lock (the knob) unlocked. To lock the door from the inside, shut the door securely and simply turn the deadbolt. To lock the door from the outside, close the door securely (make sure you pull it tight) and press the “Schlage” button. When the door locks correctly the green check mark will light.
-To open and close the blinds in the living room, just pull them down or lift them up. The blinds in the bedroom have a button in the middle you need to press before pulling them down or lifting them up.
-Please, no parties and no drugs.
-Note that VRBO will charge an extra 2% fee for international credit cards. If this is the case, the extra 2% will be taken out of your security deposit.
-Note that all stays less than 30 days must pay a 14% occupancy tax levied by SF. Tenancies-in-common of 30 days or longer are not subject to the 14% occupancy tax.
