Overview

About the property

Closest House To Coolidge Park, Walnut Street Bridge, And The Riverfront.

The Daffodil House was built in 1910 and has been completely restored with modern appliances and southern living style decor. Located in the North Shore of Chattanooga, the Daffodil House is the closest vacation rental house to Coolidge Park and the Riverfront. Less than a 300 yard walk to beautiful Coolidge Park and the Walnut Street walking bridge. Perfect for small families that want to bring a stroller and go for a walk from the house, or for the couple that wants to explore the city without having to drive.

For the nights that you'd rather stay in, a cozy back porch, complete with grill, is a perfect place to enjoy a home cooked meal with some peace and quest. After a great meal, the large jacuzzi tub in the master bath will help complete the relaxation.

The house also has off street parking that can hold up to 3 cars in the driveway. There is also a gravel lot across the road that will accompany other cars in case friends drop into visit for the day.

The completely fenced in back yard, and doggie door, make the house great for families wanting to bring their furry family member. We ask that dogs be smaller than 25 lbs.

Charming Cottage Home in a Great Location!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our long getaway weekend in this charming cottage home. It's in a great location within easy walking distance to many restaurants and shops on Chattanooga's North Side and also easy walking distance to the pedestrian bridge across the river to downtown Chattanooga. This home was extra clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back to stay here again!

Great location

  • 5 of 5

Home is in a great spot. We walked to everything except Lookout Mountain. Enjoyed eating at Brewhaus, Opa’s And Stone Cup. Be sure and grab a doughnut at Julie Darlings! The Aquarium is at the base of the pedestrian bridge on the south shore, a must see!

The home was clean, well maintained and beautifully decorated. It is very quiet inside, on a quiet street. Easter Sunday we could go out on the porch and listen to the baptist church service happening in Coolidge Park, could barely hear it in the house. The bed was very comfy. Our four legged boys loved the fenced backyard. The front or back porch is a great place to sit, relax read have a beverage.

I would highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful Stay!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at the Daffodil for a long weekend in Chattanooga! The house has all of the comforts of home and is in the perfect location. We walked everywhere and didn't need to use our vehicle for anything other than to visit Rock City. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Comfortable home in a great location

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I had a great time exploring Chattanooga from our homebase at the Daffodil. It was very easy to access and it was in a great location. We were able to walk around town from the house. It had everything we needed. Would love to stay there again!

A romantic slice of heaven

  • 5 of 5

This beautiful cottage has little design touches and surprises everywhere we looked. In a quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from shopping and good restaurants, and still within a healthy walking distance of the Hunter Museum and the Tennessee Aquarium. From the front porch to the covered back patio, we loved the quiet space to sit in the morning while listening to the birds with a cup of coffee and a peaceful evening cocktail as well. With fun framed sayings and a fully equipped kitchen it had everything we needed to feel at home and more.We are both in creative fields and loved Sam's feel for creative design. And we noted the inventive ceiling finish which made it look like old tin ceiings as well as the remote control candles in the fireplace. The overall effect is a very romantic and fun place from which to enjoy the many treats that Chattanooga has to offer. And be certain to walk a few blocks to discover the brass dance step patterns embedded in the sidewalk and the brick full scale piano for photo ops! We also highly recommend the Terra Nostra Tapas & Wine restaurant.

Thank you for a delightful weekend Sam!
