LAKEFRONT 3 BR 2 1/2 BA home with MAX dock and three canoes! Perfect location!


This fine little house has three king sized bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms (Or friends call it 'Three Kings with Three Thrones!". We also provide three canoes for your use.

Why wake up on a glorious Sunday morning and have to LEAVE paradise? We will work with you to establish both a check-in and check-out time that works for all of us. If it is a FLIP - we must stick with the 4PM in and 11AM out. If it is NOT a flip - lets discuss!

IMPORTANT NOTE: We are located in Putnam County, GA, and we operate this property LEGALLY as a Short Term Rental. We have a business license and we pay all necessary taxes.

We recently added a very cool 'fire pit' - with 8 wood Adirondack Lounge chairs surrounding. Photos when complete.

What’s so special? We have renovated this home from top to bottom! Our location on the lake is perfect. Close to all the good stuff, yet on a beautiful cove with good water. You can swim from the dock, fish, water ski - we have more than 100’ of beautiful eastern facing shore line with a ‘Max Dock’! Bring your boat (or rent one at the marina) and launch it half a mile from here. Park your trailer in the front yard.

We have a wonderful screened in porch off of the main living area that has a dining table for 6. It is on Astro turf and there are some moveable golf 'holes' and putters - just for fun.

Here is the REALLY good news – there are 20 (twenty) restaurants WITHIN 6 miles of our house (by road, not as the crow flies) and some of them are real good! Publix is just 4.5 miles from here. This house is 2 turns off the main road (it is only 2 turns off I-20 if you exit Greensboro) – NOT a long and winding journey down dark roads.

The house is a classic A-Frame from 1990 with a 2017 upgrade. Everything inside is NEW - except the cabinets and the tub / shower enclosures - and they are clean enough to look new. We have personally cleaned, repainted, or replaced every surface in the house. John and I just installed gorgeous walnut butcher block countertops in the kitchen, with a river rock back splash and a HUGE stainless single bowl sink. Phase III will include bathroom countertops, and sinks - I will re-photograph when they are installed).

The great room has very comfortable lounge seating for 6, a fireplace and a 50” flat panel TV with HD cable a smart DVD Player, and a ROKU stick. The Internet connection has 30 Meg down and 6 Meg up so you can stay well connected. The dining table seats 6 to 8 comfortably. The entire lakeside opens onto a deep deck looking across the lake. The views are stunning - even from the kitchen.

We have not child proofed the house. WE ARE SET UP AS A HOME FOR 2 OR 3 ADULT COUPLES TO ENJOY. IF you are planning to bring children, let's talk about their ages, It might be just fine!

There is a full kitchen with all new stainless GE appliances.

The house sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms. Upstairs is a lovely master suite with a private bath. Downstairs is the ‘Cabana Suite’, which consists of The Red Room with a private half bath, and The Map Room adjacent to a full bath with full sized washer and dryer.

All bedrooms have extremely comfortable king size beds. We know this because we moved from room to room during the renovation, and spent a few months sleeping on each of them. We use very high thread count 100% cotton white sheets. In winter – the beds have white duvets, and in summer white matelassé coverlets - all washed between guests. Our towels are amazing – big and thick and white as well. We have been doing short-term rentals in downtown historic Beaufort, SC, for 9 years and we have developed our own laundry protocol to make sure our towels stay white and fluffy. We use Harris Pillows out of Beaufort, SC, for all except the king pillows.

John and I own and operate four Short Term Rentals - this one, and three in Historic Downtown Beaufort, SC. We fell in love with Lake Oconee and found this diamond in the rough - so we did what we love to do - renovate neglected properties in great locations and share them! It just happens that we actually plan to spend a good deal of time in this one!

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! Twenty restaurants just 2 turns and under 6 miles away! Publix is just 4 miles away - also only 2 turns. It is easy to rent a boat just had a mile from here and park it at our dock! We are in a beautiful cove - good for tubing or skiing! AWESOME fishing.

The home was delightful and the attention to detail superb.

We were extremely pleased upon arrival at Three Kings to find such a cared for property. The kitchen was stocked better than we imagined and the bedrooms and living areas had great character. Everything worked and exceeded our expectations.

A sturdy deck led down to the large pier where swimming was deep and great for the kids or adults floating or canoeing around the cove.

I could go on and on but suffice it to say that we will be back. Thanks to the owners for their management capabilities. We had a great, relaxing time.

Great rental!

This is THE BEST rental experience we have ever had! The house was clean and so well stocked! The pictures truly don’t do this property justice - it is so much more beautiful in person. The lake view from the home is phenomenal. The house is situated in a cove which allows privacy and is away from heavy boat traffic. The owners take great care to insure their home provides a great guest experience. I’ve never worked with more accommodating owners when renting a property. I am already counting the days until we can return!

Staying at the HGTV Lakehouse

We had a great time at this location. We stayed over Memorial Day weekend with our family. The owners are very responsive. The lake place reminded us of a house seen on HGTV. :) Very well equipped and decorated very nice. The house has a very large deck and dock for your boat. We would highly recommend this location.
