Why wake up on a glorious Sunday morning and have to LEAVE paradise? We will work with you to establish both a check-in and check-out time that works for all of us. If it is a FLIP - we must stick with the 4PM in and 11AM out. If it is NOT a flip - lets discuss!

What’s so special? We have renovated this home from top to bottom! Our location on the lake is perfect. Close to all the good stuff, yet on a beautiful cove with good water. You can swim from the dock, fish, water ski - we have more than 100’ of beautiful eastern facing shore line with a ‘Max Dock’! Bring your boat (or rent one at the marina) and launch it half a mile from here. Park your trailer in the front yard.
We have a wonderful screened in porch off of the main living area that has a dining table for 6. It is on Astro turf and there are some moveable golf 'holes' and putters - just for fun.
Here is the REALLY good news – there are 20 (twenty) restaurants WITHIN 6 miles of our house (by road, not as the crow flies) and some of them are real good! Publix is just 4.5 miles from here. This house is 2 turns off the main road (it is only 2 turns off I-20 if you exit Greensboro) – NOT a long and winding journey down dark roads.
The house is a classic A-Frame from 1990 with a 2017 upgrade. Everything inside is NEW - except the cabinets and the tub / shower enclosures - and they are clean enough to look new. We have personally cleaned, repainted, or replaced every surface in the house. John and I just installed gorgeous walnut butcher block countertops in the kitchen, with a river rock back splash and a HUGE stainless single bowl sink. Phase III will include bathroom countertops, and sinks - I will re-photograph when they are installed).
The great room has very comfortable lounge seating for 6, a fireplace and a 50” flat panel TV with HD cable a smart DVD Player, and a ROKU stick. The Internet connection has 30 Meg down and 6 Meg up so you can stay well connected. The dining table seats 6 to 8 comfortably. The entire lakeside opens onto a deep deck looking across the lake. The views are stunning - even from the kitchen.
We have not child proofed the house. WE ARE SET UP AS A HOME FOR 2 OR 3 ADULT COUPLES TO ENJOY. IF you are planning to bring children, let's talk about their ages, It might be just fine!
There is a full kitchen with all new stainless GE appliances.
The house sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms. Upstairs is a lovely master suite with a private bath. Downstairs is the ‘Cabana Suite’, which consists of The Red Room with a private half bath, and The Map Room adjacent to a full bath with full sized washer and dryer.
All bedrooms have extremely comfortable king size beds. We know this because we moved from room to room during the renovation, and spent a few months sleeping on each of them. We use very high thread count 100% cotton white sheets. In winter – the beds have white duvets, and in summer white matelassé coverlets - all washed between guests. Our towels are amazing – big and thick and white as well. We have been doing short-term rentals in downtown historic Beaufort, SC, for 9 years and we have developed our own laundry protocol to make sure our towels stay white and fluffy. We use Harris Pillows out of Beaufort, SC, for all except the king pillows.
