When it comes to location, Lookout Loft is tough to beat. The condo is just a few miles from downtown Gatlinburg. You can easily drive to restaurants, nightlife, mini golf, arcades, and more, but you’re still far enough away that you can relax and enjoy dazzling views of the Great Smoky Mountains. What’s more, the condo development offers free access to an indoor heated pool and, in the summer, an outdoor pool.
The building that houses Lookout Loft was built in 2015, and the unit itself was remodeled just a year later. As a result, the furnishings and appliances are in great shape: no saggy springs or creaky chairs here. The loft of the 2-level condo is an inviting bedroom. From its queen-size bed, you can gaze up at the star-studded night sky through the skylight. It’s almost like sleeping outdoors—though much more comfortable! Another 4 people can sleep in the living room; the sofa opens into a queen-size bed as well as built in twin bunks.
The living area includes a fireplace you’ll love gathering around on chilly winter evenings and a large flat-screen smart TV with cable and a Blu-ray player. When you’re not sprawled out on the couch watching a movie, curled up in the plush armchair with a book, or taking advantage of the free WiFi to surf the web, you can gaze out through the sliding glass doors at the majestic mountains. Even better, you can bring a drink or even a meal out onto the balcony, which is furnished with a patio table and chairs. Watching falcons soar over the mountains amid the fresh breeze while you sip your morning coffee or juice is a truly uplifting way to start your day.
When you stay at Lookout Loft you’ll have scores of restaurants—steakhouses, barbecue joints, seafood eateries, even Tennessee's oldest pancake house—practically at your doorstep. Sometimes, nothing beats a home-cooked meal. For that reason, the condo has a fully equipped kitchen. From the full-size refrigerator/freezer and oven/stove to the indispensable coffeemaker and microwave, not to mention cookware and tableware, you’ll find everything you need, whether you’re whipping up a holiday meal or simply making popcorn for a late-night snack. The dining table seats 4 comfortably; after you clear the plates, bring out the Uno deck or Scrabble board and let your family dinner segue into family game night.
As charming and comfortable as Lookout Loft is, chances are you won’t be spending much time there, given how much there is to see and do nearby. The Ober Gatlinburg Ski Area and Amusement Park is only a few miles away, as is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where you can hike, bike, fish, or go horseback riding. If shopping is your idea of exercise, you’ll love the Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Loop, an 8-mile trail of more than 100 galleries, studios, and craft shops. What’s more, in the neighboring town of Pigeon Forge, Tanger Outlet Mall offers bargains galore in more than 175 name-brand outlet stores. Pigeon Forge is also home to Dollywood, the Titanic Museum, music revues, dinner theaters… the list goes on and on.
All this and more is just outside your door when you stay at Lookout Loft. And if you want to spend a day doing nothing more than sitting on the balcony listening to songbirds, reading that book you never have time to open at home, or treating yourself to an afternoon nap, the condo is a perfect place for it. So book your stay today; we’re looking forward to seeing you!
Please remember that Gatlinburg and the surrounding area is a mountain town with snow and icy conditions during the winter. Inclement weather can affect driving and parking conditions regardless of the property, driveway, or roads. We strongly recommend four-wheel drive and/or chains during the winter months.
