Guestbook comments from the owner

We were happy to find this house as accommodations in Volcano can be difficult to find at short notice. Location is excellent for access to the park. Comfortable rooms and everything we needed for amenities. Quiet, well landscaped surroundings.

Volcano Delight

  • 5 of 5

We loved our 2 night stay in this adorable rain forest Volcano home. Lots of room for 2 couples. It is obvious that the owners take pride in this home. Clean and well appointed. We enjoyed near by restaurants and the small village feel. It was rainy while we were there and we did need to build a fire ( wood sold at hardware/grocery store) and use the heaters provided. We did blow the circuit breakers when using hair dryer and heaters at the same time. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful home!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful home for 2 days while exploring the Volcano area. The home was IMMACULATE and the kitchen had everything we needed. Even in February this home was very warm and cozy. I can't imagine anything that would have made our stay more enjoyable. Do yourself a favor and book your stay here!

The owners thought of everything and then some !

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful, spacious house surrounded by tropical rainforests. Very quiet With wonderful birdsong all day and only an occasional car passing by. Really close to Kilauea, so it’s easy to drive there at night to view the glow of the lava .

It gets chilly in the morning especially when the weather is clear which we were fortunate enough to experience also for the amazing stargazing. Since we’re not comfortable starting a fire in the fireplace, the large main room is chilly for awhile in the morning. Warm clothes are essential also at the crater at night.

We ate lunch at the Thai Thai restaurant in town and even though it’s a little pricey, the food was almost the best Thai I’ve ever had ( and I’ve had it often !!) . So please patronize them if you like Thai food.

Overall, a great choice for a home to stay in for a few days in Volcano .

Great Place to Stay!

  • 5 of 5

This rental is a real gem. Cozy living room, nice bed with good linens, and an out of the way, yet very convenient spot to stay near the Volcano National Park. Neat and clean, it is like going to your grandma's cottage for a stay instead of a hotel. Recommend highly.
