Our cozy and rustic cabin is the perfect base for your exploration of Ojai and the surrounding area. Built in the late 1930s as part of an East End religious retreat, the quirky neighborhood is peaceful and serene. It has three snug bedrooms, two with queen-sized beds, and one with a built-in bunk bed plus a twin--perfect for one or even two families, or two couples traveling together. There is one bathroom with a shower for your friendly group, and while it is small, there is everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The location is really what sets our place apart. While not solitary, our neighbors are situated so that everyone has privacy and elbow room, and the peace and quiet is typically respected by all. We are within walking distance of both the Thacher school and the Krishnamurti foundation, as well as the Horn Canyon trail head--no need to climb in to your car for an outstanding hike.
This is our family's retreat, but we would like to occasionally share it with folks who will respect and enjoy the surroundings.
