Beautiful new modern renovation of an historic double in the fabulous mid-city neighborhood (technically City Park but very close to bayou St. John and Esplanade Ridge). 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, living space and kitchen downstairs with bedrooms upstairs. Located on a quiet, charming, upscale street two blocks from picturesque City Park which includes the New Orleans Museum of Art. Walking distance to Jazz Fest and 10 minute Uber ride to the French Quarter. Close (walking distance) to restaurants, grocery stores and the streetcar line. All you want to experience in New Orleans is easily accessible with great hosts to give you the locals recommendations.

I am an art dealer and a New Orleans native. We recently completed a full renovation on this fabulous 1920's double. Glad to make recommendations and help you navigate our fabulous city and all it has to offer.
Shannon purchased this House in 2016
Why Shannon chose City Park
A beautiful old house with tons of natural light. Recently renovated with everything new. Marble counter tops and tile and all new appliances. Never lived in, just for short term rent. Very comfortable with everything you might need and very clean (5 star hotel standard clean)
What makes this House unique
Very hip neighborhood that is close to everything, 10 -15 minutes to the French Quarter or downtown or uptown. Restaurants and groceries within walking distance or 2 minute drive. Steps to beautiful City Park that has the New Orleans Museum of Art, Morning Call (for beignets and coffee), biking and jogging paths, canoes, paddle boat and bike rental, play ground and amusements for kids

My husband and I reserved this property for the main purpose of attending Jazz Fest 2018. The home is immaculate, comfortable, and very well appointed. It's two blocks away from the beautiful City Park (perfect for my morning walks), home to the New Orleans Museum of Art and (for those who need a late night beignet fix, like we did) the Morning Call Coffee Stand (open 24 hours!). We were able to walk to the Canal-City Park Streetcar and the Jazz Fest venue. An Uber was never more than five minutes away. Shannon, the owner, was wonderful. Definitely a five star stay!
I wish I LIVED HERE!!
This property is a dream and was perfect for me and my team to relax, enjoy brainstorming, and grow together. The walls are a bit thin and you can sometimes hear neighbors but they were so nice and it wasn’t a big distraction at all. It’s beautidull decorated, so peaceful, had everything we needed and felt 100% safe!!! We will definitely be renting here again!
Thanks - Kristin and the genWHY communication strategies team.
Glad y'all had a great stay! Come back any time
We thoroughly enjoyed Shannon’s gorgeous home!
Incredible Home and host! Would definitely stay here again
Wonderful guests who left our house as they had found it
Gorgeous duplex with great amenities!
Shannon was so nice to let us check-in a bit early because we had an event to get ready for by 3:30 PM. The home was beautiful; she's done an excellent job of updating the duplex and provides nice amenities throughout, including great linens and toiletries. It's a short Uber to anything in town, and the home is located in an area with charming, recently updated homes. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!
Nice to have you and your group. Glad we met all your expectations! Come back anytime.
Modern, Clean, and Spacious
Shannon's place is simply amazing -- beautiful, clean, welcoming, and comfortably furnished. It is clear that she did not spare a penny in her remodel. We loved the high ceilings, refinished original wood flooring, marble countertops, big flat-screen TV's with Roku, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, interesting and beautiful artwork.
The location was very safe, quiet, and convenient - just a couple of blocks to City Park, a 7-8 minute walk to the grocery store, and a 25-minute walk to Jazzfest. We called Lyft and Uber to get to the French Quarter a few times - just a 10-15 minute ride for about $15-20.
Shannon is extremely communicative and easy to work with. She met my friends for check-in, was extremely informative about the area, and checked in on us to see if we needed anything. Other than that, she left us to do our own thing.
We highly recommend!
Thank you, Shannon!
Thanks Pam. Come back anytime!
