Nestled on 2 1/2 private acres in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, this cabin is located right across the road from the West Fork of the Chippewa River and within minutes of 9 different world-class fishing lakes.
The cabin sits in the Hayward Lakes region with its rolling hills, hardwood forests, tall pine stands and pristine lakes, serving as the hub of the Sawyer County trail system. Trails lead in all directions in this scenic Chequamegon National Forest region offering unlimited choices for ATV and snowmobilers. Almost every rider in the Midwest is aware of the fantastic year-round playground found near the Hayward area of Sawyer County. Hundreds of miles of wilderness trails provide tours through this area’s natural beauty, beckoning riders to return year after year and Trail #5 is located right off the edge of the property. There is ample parking for your truck, trailer and machines so bring all your toys. We even have covered parking for two ATVs.
The cabin has two cozy bedrooms, one king and one full, a spacious kitchen, an open living and dining room and a single bath with tub and shower. Sit back and enjoy the great outdoors on the large deck overlooking the yard. There is a fire-pit with campfire wood, a charcoal grill and a full-size stove to meet all your cooking needs. A fully stocked kitchen means the only thing you need to bring is the food. Everything else is provided. If cooking isn't your thing, there are two great eating establishments less than a mile away.
