This spacious, 1700 square foot, Grayfox Townhome on Hillside (built in 2006) has been professionally designed and fully furnished with the finest decor, furniture, bedding, entertainment technology and amenities for your vacation enjoyment. It has an efficient Great Room floor plan and is maintained in top condition by the owners. High end carpet is new as of May 2014 and premium televisions were installed in June 2014. LOCATION - LOCATION- LOCATION - across from the Westin Hotel & amenities, only a 3 minute walk to Mammoth Village and the Gondola, Ski Rentals, Ticket Office, Shops, Restaurants, Entertainment, Coffee Shops, and activities... yet in a very private cul-de-sac setting away from the noise and congestion of the Village.
Your own large attached two-car garage includes a separate heated ski and boot room for storing all your skis, snowboards and bulky toys. A private outdoor spa on your deck and a Sharper Image massage chair in the living room are perfect for relaxing at the end of a day skiing, hiking, fishing, biking, golf, or just walking around.
There are three suites with 32 inch TVs, blue ray DVD players, one Wii player. Each of these suites has its own full bath. Two King bed Master Suites upstairs with full baths are furnished with luxurious Pillowtop mattresses. A third bedroom is equipped with a Pillowtop Queen and two extra long plush Twin mattresses in a pull-out trundle or overhead bunk. Down comforters and quilts are provided.
The leather sectional queen sleeper sofa in the living room provides additional comfortable sleeping on its auto blowup seven inch mattress and deep pocket bedding. This end-unit townhome will accommodate ten people.
You will enjoy a large LG 47 inch LED TV with WiFi access to Netflix and other entertainment applications as well as a Blueray DVD player with a complete surround sound system for a wonderful home theater effect. Connect your phone to the stereo system to enjoy your favorite songs via iTunes, Spotify or Pandora.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything the fussiest chef could ask for. A waffle maker, juicer, rice cooker and crock pot are examples of extra appliances this home offers. The counters in the kitchen and all the baths are slab granite and custom design tile. An outdoor barbecue is easily accessible just off the living room on your second view deck.
This Grayfox townhome is one of only six units and has a southern view exposure and captures the wonderful mountain lighting and warmth of the winter sun. Everything you could possibly ask for is here for a wonderful Sierra vacation experience.
In addition to the bath towels and fitted sheets there are spa quality soaps and shampoos in each full bath. Hairdryers and humidifiers are provided in each bathroom. A continental basket is available with coffee, tea, creamer, hot chocolate and popcorn. Dish detergent, laundry detergent and paper towels are also provided.
Summer time: The Westin serves lunch at the pool and guests have complimentary use of the pool and hot tubs while dining/having refreshments. *Please check with Westin before using to confirm, as their policies change from time to time.

This location is A+. We wanted easy access to the village to enjoy the restaurants, entertainment and the Gondola. We did not want to bother with parking on ski days.
Convenience! We are a busy family so when we go to Mammoth we want to maximize our time. Everything we need is at our fingertips with this home. We can ski in the morning, return home for lunch and easily get back to Canyon Lodge via the Gondola for the afternoon. We also like having the choice to hop over to the village for coffee, breakfast/lunch/dinner/drinks or cook at home with the luxury of space and away from the hustle and bustle of the village. During summer, we love to hike and bike in Mammoth and Yosemite.
I am a very picky traveler and have clocked more than 500,000 miles on United Airlines - so I have a bit of experience. I originally stayed in this unit two years ago and the whole family loved it (kids ages were: 17, 15, 13 and 4). Since then we have tried a number of other places. This year we came back to this GrayFox unit and we will be coming back again in February. The home has been brilliantly planned out out and is the perfect place to stay! The unit itself is beautiful, more luxurious, and better cared for than most others. The rooms are perfect with a lot of closets and room for clothes and the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. The bathrooms are gorgeous. Sometimes a place is nice until you use the bathroom and then you see that its rundown and not very clean…but NOT this place - I actually feel like I am at home. The kitchen is great and has everything you could need to cook a great meal, including a nice large, spacious cupboard. The wi-fi works great, the kids love the video games, the couch is comfy and fits the whole family - except me - and that is because I refuse to move from the massage chair! The Jacuzzi made me realize that you CANNOT go to mammoth to ski/snowboard without having a Jacuzzi to use in the evening – it’s just wrong. Plus the Jacuzzi is private so even I don’t mind putting on a bathing suit! The location is perfect – it takes less than two minutes to walk to the Gondola. The kids can come back whenever they are done and we can even come back for lunch if we feel like it. This home may be priced slightly higher than others you are considering, but it is well worth every penny. We HATE leaving and we will never stay anywhere else again!
Second time we styed here. Home is well taken care of and well stocked. Having the attached 2 car garage makes it very convenient for sports activities. We usually have at least 6 bikes and it makes for easy storage-no taking the bikes into the condo like when you stay at the Village or Westin Monache condos. Nice to be able to pull in during a day at the bike park and grab lunch or do repairs-vey efficient.

I will stay here again for sure. You cannot beat the combo of location and quality of accommodation.
The unit was perfect. It had everything we needed. Nicely decorated...well maintained, but the key to it all is SO SO close to the Village. That's a must for us. Will book again for sure!
We loved this unit! You can walk to the gondola from the unit which is convenient for the whole family. The unit was well kept and the kitchen stocked with great appliances and cooking tools. The beds were comfortable as well, which is a big bonus. We will stay here again. Only thing I can say is that it would have been nice to have a salad spinner, but we did just fine without it.
We stayed for a week, Oct 19th-25th. Cabin could not have worked better for us. Walking distance to the Village and shops, but tucked into a quiet area across the street from the Westin. Extremely well taken care of, comfortable, and has all of your amenities. We will be back!
The condo does not disappoint. It was clean and well equipped. The location is excellent, we usually stay at the Village or the Westin and this was better for getting sleep at night. Less noise. The location provides easy access to the restaurants at or near the village (5 minute walk tops). Easy parking with the garage and so nice to have a place to park bikes and not worry about them. The owner is responsive and efficient.
A great value for sure. The 3 bedrooms all have ensuite bathrooms; a nice feature. I would definitely stay here again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay… the condo is comfortable, with a great living room for hanging out apres-ski, a kitchen that has everything you could possibly need, an awesome jacuzzi, and three well-appointed bedrooms. Our kids loved the bunk-bed room downstairs. Spacious garage too, and so close to the Village -- the gondola is just a short walk away, which made getting to ski school super easy. We loved our stay all around! Thank you!
