Unique and spectacular!
Laurel Falls is a conglomerate of four CLEAN, unique, warm, inviting cottages. The main lodge has four large bedrooms and one twin bedroom, one bathroom on top floor, and one bathroom off master bedroom on first floor, 1/2 bath off kitchen. We held a Christmas celebration in the main lodge with about 25 family members and there was plenty of room for all to enjoy. The view from the main lodge is so spectacular and relaxing. The waterfall cabin has a waterfall behind it starting from way up in the mountain and passing right by the back of the house. Peaceful, unique, relaxing, are just a few of the ways to explain this property. Definitely hire the pizza chefs. The pizza made in the property’s pizza oven was out of this world delicious! We also hired the pork dinner chef who was both entertaining and a damn good cook! The terrain is very hilly, but a driveway to the main lodge passes in front and goes behind the house right to the kitchen door. The chestnut cabin and waterfall cabin both have driveways right in front of the house. Stay here. You will not be sorry.
Lovely, quiet, convenient location with a great view
Our family stayed here for a week and utilized all 4 homes. The Falls Lodge has an amazing view and we practically lived on the porch. The room/bath situation was a little odd as there is 1 bathroom downstairs with an odd shower curtain arrangement, and then another huge bathroom upstairs for the 4 upstairs rooms to share. Worked out ok as we put all the kids upstairs!
The Carriage House is lovely and has a nice view out the front windows. The little A frame house is also cute and well-arranged. Waterfall Cabin is aptly named as it is right beside an amazing waterfall and is very peaceful.
The property owner and Yonder were very responsive to all of our inquiries. From a planning perspective, just know that there is a road separating the Lodge and Carriage House from the other two homes. It is an easy crossing, just something to be prepared for.
Scenic, quiet, beautiful.....
This place exceeded our expectations for our 15 person destination wedding.
Everything was as promised.
My highest recommendation!!!!
This property was the most perfect location for our mountain retreat with spectacular accommodations and views - it had everything we needed and more. We were beyond pleased with all four cottages! It was cozy and breathtaking. I would highly recommend to anyone and we can't wait to go back with more family and friends!
Just as lovely as shown in all the photos, really.
This property is nestled on the mountain so that the views are spectacular or, if you prefer, the waterfall cabin allows access to a lovely trail up the falls or a quiet soak in the hot tub listening to the calming rush of the falls. The grounds are spectacular and served as a lovely backdrop for my daughter's wedding with several options for an outdoor ceremony.
There were ten family members that stayed among the four houses and we were all very comfortable with more than enough room and all the comforts of home.
There are so many good restaurants in Asheville and we settled on Rhubarb for the rehearsal dinner and it was wonderful. Their bakery, Rhu , is also outstanding for baked goods. After the wedding which we had outside, up on the hill, the owner was very helpful arranging for a chef to come and prepare a meal after the ceremony and the kitchen in the lodge and the dining area were spacious and worked well. We also worked with the concierge service to get tickets for some Asheville events.
With Asheville only 13 miles away, Laurel Falls is a wonderful option if you are looking for something more rural, quiet, with less traffic and more nature. We actually had a beautiful wild male turkey visit us on the morning our our departure. He arrived and walked up to the "chapel" and shortly was joined by his female friend. It was a lovely ending to a really perfect 5 day visit.
The place was amazing. Stunning views.
This was the perfect venue for our 59th Wedding Anniversary. Minutes from downtown Asheville yet secluded, quiet, and peaceful. Plenty of room for all our guests and an overall great experience.
Thank you for you 5 star review of Laurel Fall! We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay and had a memorable anniversary celebration! We hope you will come back soon, and let Yonder know if we can help plan your next mountain vacation.
