5+ STARS! A WONDERFUL PLACE TO RELAX
An excellent value! The house was even more beautiful than the pictures show. Very tastefully decorated. Comfortable beds, luxurious bed linens and towels...first class all the way. Nice deck with grill plus tables and chairs. The house was a delight in every way.
I dealt with the owner, Marissa. She was FANTASTIC. I had questions, and I had made a mistake about the reservation. She could not have been nicer nor more professional. Her response time was the absolute best! This was our first stay at Big Canoe. The clubhouse food was fabulous and very reasonable, so you don't even need to leave the property!
So what's the negative? We had reserved for only two night! We should have stayed much longer and will next time. We can't wait to repeat our experience in this beautiful house that instantly felt like our own home.
Well appointed getaway home in beautiful Big Canoe
My husband and I took our grandsons for Spring Break. Being a former landowner in Big Canoe for 22 years, our grandsons missed the "Big Canoe Experience." For 5 glorious days, we recreated our fun experiences of swimming and working out at the Fitness Center, paddling at the Marina, hiking, playing on the ball field and basketball court at the Wildcat area, and their favorite of walking and exploring at the creek by the jeep trail. The homeowners were extremely helpful. Check-in was easy. The home is well stocked and beautifully furnished. The brand new grill and washer and dryer were a big plus! I plan to return in June!
Cute cabin in a beautiful area.
Thanks to Marisa for a wonderful place to stay for a weekend wedding. The cabin was very cute and roomy. It was a bit outdated on the inside but we weren't looking for some 'fancy' or 'posh' place. We were looking for a nice, quiet cabin in Big Canoe that was close to the chapel, Chimney's, and the tennis courts/walking trails. This was spot on!
Thanks for the review Chris. Hope you can come back for an extended stay. Lots to do in Big Canoe. The Fall is spectacular!
overall very positive. Only negative was shower faucets in both bathrooms dripped Would go back
Scenic, secluded . One drawback (not from house) was pool not open only lake
Thanks for the review. Just an FYI: both bathroom faucets, stoppers and overflow valve have been repaired. More upgrades to come! Hope to host you again soon!
Great for weekend getaway!
First time at Big Canoe, and really enjoyed it. The tree topper was a perfect place to stay for a family of four.
Thanks for your review Mike. The fall is magical here! Hope to see you then.
Perfect Home Away from Home
My husband and I stayed in this property on 4th July week. This cabin was everything that meet our basic need.
The furniture was very comfortable and stylish, owner supplied us with fluffy, clean towels and washcloths as well as travel sized personnel use lotion, shampoo and the hair conditioner.
We thought that was very thoughtful and made us feel special, we feel very comfortable and relaxed in this cabin.
The home is well-appointed with everything we needed in the kitchen, bathrooms, and clean, comfortable spaces to live in.
The place is quiet and beautiful. we enjoyed our stay. We will come back for sure.
Thank you Okcha so much for the kind words! We take a lot of pride in and love our Treetopper! Big Canoe is a magical place. It was a pleasure hosting you and your husband. We hope you come back to visit us soon. Please tell your family and friends about our little piece of heaven.
