Henrietta Garden Apartment - an apartment that sleeps 5 guests in 2 bedrooms
The finely wrought Georgian architecture above is visible from this wide basement entrance, dotted with pot plants. The smartly tiled foyer leads to a huge, comfortable living area with 2 large sash windows. Three alcoves which would have housed the kitchen range and ovens in Georgian times, have been brought up to date with a 42'' 3D TV (with BT Vision and i-Player) on one side and a selection of movies and a music system with i-pad and i-phone docking on the other. In front of the central decorative fireplace are two sumptuous leather sofas to seat 6 and two leather bean-bags. There is contemporary art on the walls along with a long rosewood sideboard and drinks cabinet with fine glassware.
There is a lively sporting theme in the dining room with pictures and framed memorabilia of favourite events. The elegant mahogany dining table to seat 6 even converts to a pool and snooker table. Pretty sideboards store tableware and a selection of games and a tall sash window overlooks a serene private courtyard garden.
An antique desk in the corner of a wide corridor has wi-fi and a laptop. Further along is a small cloak-room with WC and hand basin.
The neat fitted beech kitchen with black granite tops is well organised throughout and includes a Dualit coffee machine. A large range-master cooker has a 5 ring gas hob and electric warming plate, along with two ovens and a pan drawer. Smartly housed are a large fridge and separate freezer, a microwave, a dishwasher and plenty of white crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.
Outside is an atmospheric walled courtyard garden with planted borders that are surrounded by tall, handsome Bath stone buildings. A large circular outdoor table has 6 roomy seats and a large gas BBQ for enjoyable alfresco dining.
The downstairs bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with generous en-suite bathrooms. An indulgent master bedroom has a 5' bed and a leather 2-seater sofa from which to watch TV. Two fitted wardrobes, a long chest of drawers and a tall boy provide lots of storage. Past an arched window filtering light from the courtyard above is the vaulted en-suite. In this large cream and white tiled contemporary bathroom, is a large walk-in shower, a WC and hand basin with storage under.
Another large pretty cream bedroom has a 4'6'' double bed and a 3' single. Above a chest of drawers are a TV and Wii with a selection of games and children's books neatly arranged on a bookshelf. There is a long dressing table and a walk-in-wardrobe with shelves, hanging space and another chest of drawers. A large contemporary cream and white-tiled en-suite has a walk-in shower, a double hand basin with storage under, a long bath and WC.

A Perfect place in Bath for two couples
First of all the location is perfect. Just steps from the Pulteney Bridge on the edge of the old town. Excellent dining nearby as well as a fully stocked grocery if you decide to eat in. Two ensuite bedrooms are great for privacy and with them on the lower level you don't have to worry about noisy neighbors when you are ready to sleep. Full kitchen, dining room and living area makes you feel at home. Definitely would return when visiting Bath.

The house has a great central location and Bath has many beautiful historic sites, wonderful museums and galleries, good restaurants, lively bars, great entertainment and absolutely gorgeous shops and all within a short level walk. The lovely 'Henrietta Gardens' city park is close by and pleasant to stroll through at any time of year. Book a show at the Theatre Royal, an evening at Komedia comedy club or a soothing session at the Thermae Spa. You can also take advantage of proximity to The Rec, home of Bath Rugby with the season running from September to May and matches every two weeks. Tel the Box Office outside the grounds 0871 721 1865 to book tickets up to 4 weeks in advance or visit www.seatexchange.co.uk for online tickets. There are also tennis courts in Royal Victoria Park, hot-air balloon flights and The Approach Golf Course where you can play 18 holes whilst taking in wonderful views of Bath and the surrounding hills. You can enjoy all the fun of the city, with great outdoors facilities. A parking permit for 1 car is available to park your car in residents bays on Henrietta st or neighbouring streets in the zone. Alternatively the Bath Spa train and coach stations are less than a 10 minute walk (taxis available Tel. V Cars Taxis 01225 464646) with regular links to London, Paddington and Bristol Temple Mead.
