This unique house was built in the 1930's and until 1960 it was the town grocery store and dancehall and then converted into our fathers living quarters. This place has been in our family for three generations. My Brother & I realized when we inherited the place in 2014 it could be a wonderful opportunity. Knowing this community is rich in history and beauty we wanted to extend that beauty and history to our new adventure. In 2015 we started a total renovation, top to bottom . It's been awesome to see the transformation. And hope you will think of our place as yours .
Today you will find a comfortable three bedroom, two bath, open concept living room and kitchen with vaulted ceiling, and a separate bar room to enjoy all the flavors Kentucky Bourbon has to offer. We have Wi-Fi, three flat screen TV's, Roku Stick, blue tooth speaker, stereo, DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with coffee maker, microwave, ice maker, in the bar you have a dishwasher and wet bar with all the glassware and utensils you will need to make the perfect cocktail. Outside you will find an acre of land with a garden area with seating, fire pit with fire wood, large gas grill, horseshoe pit, corn toss game, and space to just hang out on the front porch & watch the world go by. We built this place to serve you. History is everywhere here in Nelson County with many things to do . Of course there's all things Horse and Bourbon related but there's so much more. If you just want a quite weekend with countryside drives and watching the sunset this is your destination place.
