We enjoyed a great family vacation over Columbus Day weekend at Chris lovely home!
Clean, lovely decorated house just steps away from the beach!
Thanks again for renting this year. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay. I hope you will return again sometime.
Great location and beach with Swiss rules
Tight and clean
We really enjoyed our time in this beautiful cottage. It was clean, spacious, and a 2 minute walk to the beach. (Chris wasn't lying - it really is that close.) The only downside to this rental is that it's really hard to get a signal, so if you're trying to do work (or just post vacation pics) it's a challenge. Still, it felt like a small price to pay to be that close to the warm, shark-free water.
If you have kids, check out the Adventure Park at Heritage Gardens. It's an easy 20 minute drive and a great way to spend the day. (When you're not at the beach, that is.)
Thanks very much for the positive review of your stay. It surely is a family friendly place for a vacation. I hope that you will consider another vacation here sometime. I would like to point out that not everyone experiences the cellular signal issues that you mentioned and that a new cell tower is planned for the area. That project is working its way through the permitting process right now. I do also provide Wi-Fi for anyone that needs to do some work and many cell phones can route calls over Wi-Fi when they encounter a weak cellular signal. For example, on an iPhone, you would turn that on in cellular settings under Wi-Fi calling. Most major carriers support it including Verizon. Thanks again.
The place was very nice only a couple of things I would have liked better.
The cell service was not good at all luckily we had no emergencies. The full bath on the second floor made it impossible for my step dad so they stayed at a hotel instead. The check out time was 9:30am a little early after my sons wedding the night before but we managed to get the towels washed and dried in time. Location was fantastic short walk to the beach and 8 min walk to the Popponesset Inn. I would stay there again! Beautiful area.
Loved the property. Beautiful townhouse with Beach decor. Clean. Great sunroom. Beach is very close.
Only Wish that the weather was better.
Cute, Quaint, Perfect!
We booked sight unseen and everything was better then expected. Cottage is meticulously maintained and very nicely decorated. Keyless entry is a nice perk. Towels and sheets being provided was SO nice! Only thing I would have liked was a Keurig--but I survived having to make coffee (LOL).
The owner was quick to reply to all my emails. Pleasure to work with.
The location is perfect. Such a nice walking area. We stayed for a long weekend due to a wedding and enjoyed every second at New Seabury/ Maushop Village.
New Seabury offers miles of beaches, walking paths and biking trails scattered among its 2000 acres. Walk to Popponesset Marketplace and enjoy free concerts, shopping, mini golf, restaurants, a coffee shop, a general store, bike rentals and a Ice Cream shop. The Raw Bar at the Marketplace is famous for the best lobster roll in New England.
A short trip to Mashpee Commons where you will find many unique shops, restaurants, movie theaters, Starbucks, etc.
Easy day trip to the islands from nearby Falmouth or Hyannis.
Other Activities: Walk to beach, marketplace, Poppy Inn, short drive to Mashpee Commons
