Excellent, best stay yet.

  • 5 of 5

We've rented many cottages before--including California and Italy and this was the best yet. Everything about this place was just perfect. Super clean, beautiful home, quality furnishings, professionally decorated, comfy. Ideal location. Great quiet neighborhood with parking in front. We loved the comfy porch and garden area. I even loved the full sized washer and dryer in the laundry room. The hosts are friendly and gracious, yet everything was handled with ease and professionalism, that we appreciated even more based on our experiences with renting cottages in general. Eastport is an ideal location for visiting downtown Annapolis and there many good places to eat and shop within walking distance. We just got back---but already thinking returning to this beautiful home for our next visit!. Highly recommended.

Perfect for our weekend wedding in Annapolis

  • 5 of 5

We just loved this quirky and comfortable house for our wedding weekend in Annapolis. Meg and Ben were so kind and so helpful. The house is really set up for rentals: very clean, includes everything you would need, and nicely laid out. There is a large table for breakfast, and plenty of space on the porch to relax with your coffee. We stayed here with our wedding party for our wedding in Eastport and just LOVED it. It was so convenient to the water and to downtown. I highly recommend this location if you like Eastport, it cannot be beaten.

Our heart is where this home is

  • 5 of 5

From first contact with the owner via VRBO messaging, to the last contact via a big, sweaty hug (on my part; we'd been packing the car), this experience was filled with warmth, friendliness and yet a level of professionalism found mostly at multiple star resorts. Setting up the rental and getting needed information was easy. Once we arrived, the ease continued, with a beautifully appointed home stocked with comfortable, almost luxurious linens, gourmet-level kitchen, (I'm not kidding or over-using the term, here) and replete with a neighborhood friendly enough to make one forget one is only visiting. This home and its owners have the magical ability to create a mystical getaway that seems lightyears away from everyday worries and minutiae, but still give the visitor a completely comfortable feeling of having come home at last. To say we hated to leave is an understatement. If our daughter attends college nearby, this is where we will stay when we come visit.

Glimpse of Annapolis Life

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this property! The place was extremely clean and well stocked with anything you would need. The owners are extremely informative and friendly. In addition, the proximity to the Naval Academy and even into DC makes this a great place to stay. Our family loved being able to walk into town or take the water taxi. Next time, we hope to take in even more of the local amenities. Thanks so much!

Wonderful experience!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed in this lovely home for a month and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The house and the setting is very relaxing, peaceful and clean. We enjoyed many beautiful days and nights hanging out in their front porch. We also really enjoyed using their wonderfully well-equipped kitchen. The owners Meg and Ben are incredibly helpful and were wonderful hosts. I highly recommend this rental. We'll be staying here again.

Navy Wedding

  • 5 of 5

If I thought that I would be returning to Annapolis, I would not write a positive review about this property. Why? Because I would not want the rest of the world know how fabulous it is, thus keeping it for myself when I wanted to be there! Meg and Ben have done an extraordinary job of completely renovating this cottage. It is comfortable in all regards including two fully stocked kitchens, 2 laundries, 4+ bedrooms on three levels and three bathrooms. We had nine adults, hosted a small dinner for other family members one night, and it was so easy and comfortable. Why would anyone stay elsewhere?
