Stayed here for 2 wonderful weeks. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and has everything you could possibly need.
Beds were comfortable great nights sleep.
Was worried being across from a pub but needn't have has it is a quiet country pub that sells excellent food and very friendly landlord Matt znd staff.
Great communication with owner and a little welcome of a bottle of win, selection of tea and coffee and milk was a nice touch.
For a get away from it all holiday ( but ner enough to lots of beaches) I would highly recommend this beautiful place.
We have just returned from a lovely week at Rose Cottage. Maggie provided everything needed for our 2 year old (travel cot, high chair, stair gate). The stairs are very steep so we did have to be extra careful with our little ones! It was very cosy, had all the home comforts we needed for the week, and was in a great location for exploring Devon and Cornwall. The only thing I wish had been made clearer on the description is that the garden is across the road from the cottage and not immediately accessible from the property. However, we still had a fantastic stay and would recommend this cottage to others.
