BEDROOMS - 4
Three queen-sized beds and a trundle day bed, all with clean beautiful linens, sleeps up to a total of 8 people on the second floor. While the house is very comfortable in the winter, three of the bedrooms have a gas stove for even added cozy pleasure. Summers in Pagosa Springs are mild with evening temperatures dipping into the 50s and 60s and air conditioning is not needed.
BATHROOMS - 2
A large bathroom upstairs includes a shower as well as a deep bath tub for soaking after a long hike or a day of skiing. Alternatively, a soak in the hot spring's natural mineral pools, within walking distance, is the key for any aches and pains. A second bathroom with steam shower on the first floor, provides additional privacy for a house full of guests.
LIVING ROOMS - 2
The two living room areas downstairs have comfortable sofas and chairs, a flat-screened television and DVD player, and tables for games or work space.
The gourmet kitchen includes a six-burner gas stove for those that love to cook, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, microwave and convection oven. The elegant wooden table in the adjacent dining room is perfect for family meals and get togethers.
PORCH and PATIO:
In the mornings, you can enjoy your coffee in the roomy and sunny indoor porch looking out onto the private patio.
There is a laundry room on the first floor to wash those hiking clothes and ample space for your fly-fishing gear to dry. Pagosa Springs offers easy access to the San Juan National Forest, two of the largest wilderness areas in the U.S., and world-class fly-fishing on the San Juan, Piedra, and nearby Los Pinos and Rio Grande rivers. Rafting and kayaking on the San Juan in the spring and tubing in the summer is a popular activity for locals and visitors. WolfCreek Ski area, with the best snow in Colorado is located just off the Continental Divide 25 miles away. This vacation home is perfectly outfitted to enjoy year-round! About Eric Resch
Our home is co-owed by two Families - The Bruss family lives just outside of Pagosa Springs on Hwy 84 on a ranch. The Resch family lives in Milwaukee and visits Pagosa few times per year.
Eric Resch purchased this House in 2005
Why Eric Resch chose Archuleta County
We fell in love with this turn of the century (last century) home because it maintains all of its original charm with modern amenities and finishes. Our families spend a great deal of time cooking and sitting by out outside fireplace.

A wonderfully comfortable, beautifully restored Victorian home in the middle of Pagosa Spring's historic downtown and an easy 30-minute drive from Wolf Creek. The owner met us upon arrival with a fresh apple pie and made himself available to answer any questions. We'd love to stay there again on our next trip to Pagosa. Can't recommend this home highly enough!
Nice home and location
We really enjoyed our stay here. It's a nice Victorian style home with plenty of space that's within walking distance to the downtown strip. The was our second ski trip to Pagosa and we had another great time!
amazing vacation in a beautiful home
we absolutely loved our stay at this house. First the house itself is large but very cozy and clean, with all amenities provided including complete kitchen supplies, very clean linens, towels and etc. we were 5 people including two small children and everyone had their own privacy, but also got together in a very cozy family room and ate in the large dining room. it was a perfect house for the kids to play in, and run around the nice backyard where we had breakfast every morning. the locations is absolutely the best. it is walking distance to the center of the town with restaurants and, shops, tubing and hot springs. it is also walking distance to a great park by the river where the kids walked to and played every morning. We will absolutely come back to Pegosa Springs and stay in the same house for our next vacation.
Beautiful home in a perfect location!
We loved our stay in this perfectly, roomy and quaint home in downtown Pagosa. The home is a block from the main drag so we were able to ditch the car for most of our stay. We spent a good deal of our time out on the beautiful patio overlooking the town with the mountains in the distance. We didn't get a chance to do much cooking, but the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and condiments. Plus, there was an eclectic and interesting dvd collection that we took advantage of both nights of our stay. Loved, Loved, Loved these digs!
