This three bedroom two bath house is ready for a completely relaxing vacation for friends and family. The backyard living area includes comfy patio furniture, a table for outside dining and a propane grill. The kitchen looks out to the pool area, to keep an eye on the older kids splashing about. The pool has recently been screened in for bug and leaf protection; and for safety for the youngsters in addition to the fenced back yard. The master, with a king bed and grand TV also has a soaking tub and separate large shower. Beach towels and bathing towels are provided as is comfortable bedding. Bedroom two has a queen size bed, and bedroom three has a double bed; all with storage in the closets for extended stays. The Florida room is completely enclosed and has a day bed with a trundle, comfortable sleeping for kiddos. There are two living areas with sofa's and chairs for multi-generational visiting. One living area has a fireplace and flat screen TV. Oh yes, there is wifi for all. A formal dining area is available inside with a table that comfortably seats eight. Warm sun, live oak trees, sweet setting in a walk-able or bike-able neighborhood. A five minute walk will take you to the neighborhood park where the kids can play. A two mile walk or ride will take you to the park on Scenic Highway overlooking the bay where we take our golden retriever off leash for a swim. The Gulf of Mexico is a twenty minute drive with restaurants galore, as is Joe Patti's famous seafood. The minor league baseball stadium is one of the nicest in the USA right on the bay. Catch the Blue Angels practicing their loops at the Naval Air Station, where the Naval Air Museum has free admission, another must see for our grandsons.
A scenic 25 minute drive will take you to the Gulf of Mexico Seashore on Santa Rosa Island; a protected beach with crystal white sand, and blue green water. Pick up some grouper or other locally caught fish on the way home from the beach at Joe Patti's and cook it on the grill like the locals with just a little butter and lemon. Delicious! Walk the streets of downtown Pensacola to find new breweries, parks, waterfront daydreaming areas and delectable places to eat like Jaco's at the Palafox Pier. If you have been to other areas on the Gulf Coast, try Pensacola. I think you will be favorably impressed.
