My family and I live in Port St. Joe, so we are a text/phone call away if you have any issues during your stay!
Owner purchased this House in 2015
Why Owner chose Indian Pass
I researched buying this property for 3 years before we made the purchase. I looked at all the adjacent areas and decided that I had to have a beach house in Indian Pass, and I feel so grateful and lucky that we were able to find this place. I grew up on the Gulf of Mexico, and I went to college and lived in the panhandle, so I was familiar with the "Forgotten Coast" and I feel that it is the most beautiful part of Florida. I hope that you will too!
What makes this House unique
When we walked into the house, we just knew that it was the one! It's unique shape ( an octagon that resembles a lighthouse) and the fact that it is just big enough to provide a comfortable setting for a beach vacation. It is steps to a beach which is private and allows for a family to feel that it is all their own. Another nice feature is the fact that the lot is private, as there are no other properties on any side of the house. I always get a peaceful, happy feeling every time I walk into the house. It's the best place ever!

Cute house and great location!
The overall experience was good. The house is very cute and we loved the short walk to the beach. Also loved the screened porch. The only drawback was the narrow spiral staircase leading to the lower level which had no bathroom.
Cozy and Unique!
We had the most relaxing vacation ever. Long walks on the beach, biking on the quiet Indian Pass roads, reading on the screened-in porch. In the evening, take-in a beautiful sunset and then head to the soothing hot tub at the Sand Dollar Chalet II ! All at a very reasonable price.
Thought would ne newer & cleaner but it worked out
Great place for a relaxing beach vacation!
Stayed here with my boyfriend and mother over the holidays. I'm originally from Indian Pass, so it is nice to return. The house was lovely -- it was even decorated for Christmas! I happily used the kitchen and the hot tub. It was close to the beach so I could go for morning runs. The outdoor shower was perfect for washing off after going to the beach. I have never used VRBO before and this was a great first experience.
The very best spot
Tucked into a quiet, older neighborhood with almost zero traffic, the little octagonal house was the getaway we had wanted. From our quiet nook we could flipflop to the beach about 50 yards, cook a nice dinner in a well-equipped kitchen (you supply all ingredients including salt and pepper), and relax entertained by cable TV or wifi. The screened porch overlooks the ocean in the distance and a little yard where butterflies were nectaring on the blooming loquat trees. This is not a new house, but it has been loved and furnished with care. From our base, we explored the area (our first trip). It is conveniently located, yet away from any main road. We will come to Indian Pass again on any return trip.
