About Troy and Kelly Couture
We are local artists and have a small business in town. We have two other properties listed with VRBO in Pagosa. Our cabin is in the same neighborhood as this one. We've been renting for a little over a year now and have collected many 5 star reviews for it. Our second rental is a larger home which is also a newer listing and has begun to collect 5 star reviews of its own. As this home has no reviews yet to base your decision on we would like to take this opportunity to assure you that your comfort and satisfaction is our sincere goal. Being nearby we are quick to resolve any issue of maintenance and always happy to answer any questions you might have.
Troy and Kelly Couture purchased this House in 2011
Why Troy and Kelly Couture chose Pagosa Springs
This was our first home in Pagosa Springs and we have loved our time here. We have entertained our friends and family here during countless summer bar-b-ques. We held our wedding party in the back yard. And we have enjoyed many quiet evenings by the fire. Our dog Kobe has grown into a grumpy old man sunning himself in the yard. We’ve built so many warm memories here that when we bought our new home we just couldn’t bring ourselves to sell it. So we decided to share its warmth and comfort with others. We believe it is the perfect place for families with children, small gatherings or a getaway just for two.

Awesome property, loved our stay
Very nicely redone cottage/house. Very nice, high end and UNIQUE finishes. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Pagosa and Durango. Thank you Kelly and Troy.
Wonderful, WONDERFUL home!
This was the PERFECT place to stay in beautiful Pagosa Springs! The home is so comfortable and inviting that it was tempting to just stay there and enjoy both the house and the yard rather than venture out. Every amenity we could have hoped for was included in the house, which was clean and nicely decorated. I would not hesitate to stay here again!
Super cozy, everything we needed for a perfect vacation.
We really enjoyed our time in Pagosa Springs. This home is in a wonderful location, had a beautiful view of the lake and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The home was decorated nicely and very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Will stay at this home next time we come.
It was PERFECT!!!
I cannot stop raving about our vacation in Pagosa and mostly thanks to this fabulous rental! We had 4 adults and 2 kids and our dog and we had plenty of space. Everyone slept well all weekend, it was very cozy. My favorite part was definitely the patio/deck in the back! There's a covered patio with comfy padded outdoor furniture, and there's a deck area in the sun with a nice little 4-person dining set with an umbrella. When it rains you can sit under the covered part and listen to the rain, it's heavenly! There's also a grill AND a firepit! (We didn't use the fire pit because of the bans but I'm sure that would have been great too)
Everything was super clean, you can tell they really take care of their place. The bathrooms were cool, the shower/tub in the shared bathroom is HUGE. Plenty of towels available and they even have some toiletries on hand in case you forgot something at home. They have amazing artwork all over the place too! Also, the lake is RIGHT THERE! You just have to walk or drive around to one of the dock areas for access. It was simply beautiful :-)
Pick this place if you're staying in Pagosa!
Everything was perfect. Location was great. House was stocked with everything we needed. Outdoor patio was great just to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Thank yall.
Nice location. Very responsive owners
It was very clean. Excellent location and pet friendly had a great fenced in bacl yard. I had to call about a TV issue and Kelly was right there and fixed it. Kitchen was loaded with spices and condiments. My biggest issue was no air conditioning and house got very hot. We had windows open and fans on and sweat until midnight. I would suggest an air unit. We left a day early due to miserable in heat of summer at the house.
The great majority of homes in Pagosa Springs do not have air conditioning. We enjoy mild temperatures for all but a handful of days so it is not warranted. In fact, during your stay our evening temps were 43 to 47 degrees. Personally, I think those are very comfortable sleeping temperatures, if not a bit chilly. Nonetheless, had you simply called, emailed or texted, like you did about the t.v. We would have gladly run to Walmart to get a cooling unit to make you more comfortable. You did not. We cannot correct a problem that we are not aware of.
Pagosa Springs is a year round paradise and outdoor enthusiasts dream, that's what brought us here! Rafting, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, ice climbing, golfing, hunting, fly fishing. Or play it low key and tube down the river with family or friends and stop for a margarita at Kips. Wolf Creek ski area and Lobo back country are at the top of the pass. Snowmobiling, snowshoeing and cross country areas are numerous. Chimney Rock Natl Monument, open in spring and summer have outstanding Anasazi ruins, We will be happy to share our knowledge of the areas trails and secret squirrel destinations.
