Feel at home for both families and couples. Beach access, is less than a 8 minute walk out your front door from the estate to Turtle Bay beaches. Beaches are kid friendly and safe for swimming and snorkeling. Other adventures are within 10 to 15 miles in either direction of the estate location. Your condo is situated on two excellently maintained golf courses. This is the most private condo complex on Oahu's famous North Shore, at Kuilima West Estate, in a gated community with pools and a tennis court. Only a short drive away to world class big-wave surfing and pristine beaches. Whether you are looking for adventure or just to un-wind and relax, our condo is for you.

Clean and comfortable describes our place. Every three months the condo is sprayed so you don't have to share with local critters. We are still improving the condo, since it was purchased in March 2017. Upgrades since purchase include: furniture, flooring, linens, towels and bath items, kitchen cookware, dishes, full sized stacked washer and dryer, and other amenities. Also a new eco-friendly A/C system, installed in both the main living area and the loft, ensures a comfortable stay. However, during the late fall through early summer- if you are interested in very green vacationing just open the doors and windows front and back to allow the tropical breezes to flow through.

The condo sleeps six very comfortably without using a pull-out couch bed. There is one bedroom and a loft with three beds (queen, full and twin), and two bathrooms- one on each floor. Take advantage of the opportunity to stay in a really nice condo, located minutes from many activities, at an affordable price.

The combination of improvements, high speed internet, a kitchen equipped with many basic necessities to prepare full meals, and local activities to enjoy close-by-- makes this the ideal rental for you. For our younger folks, a high chair and little one's sized cups, plates and bowls are provided. We know you will enjoy the fun of the location, catch some rays, and eat good food.

We have loved the North Shore since we first started vacationing here, over the holidays, decades ago. Nothing feels more at home than when we see the first glimpse of ocean just past the Dole pineapple plantation. At that point we open the car windows, breath in the ocean air and know we're a few miles from home. We want to share this experience with others- and hope you create lasting memories of your own while staying in our condo.

What makes this condo unique

This property is terrific because it not only offers activities inside a gated and secure area, but the grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained. Security is on-site 24-7 to ensure guests are safe and can expect to enjoy the use of the amenities without worry. The north shore is also called "the country", and it provides a unique opportunity for learning and enjoying the Aloha spirit- local style. We prefer this side of the island because there are a lot of different beaches to enjoy. Most activities are outdoors. We are pretty sure you'll sleep soundly after a day of sun, fresh air, ocean and exercise.

We like trying new foods, and there are lot of food trucks along the north shore area. Most all fruits and vegies are locally grown, and you'll find several food and fresh coconut stands as well. There is plenty of variety for dining out or in- and don't forget to get a Hawaiian shave ice.

Although this is the windward side- it is more likely that rain showers will blow over and even on cloudy days you have a good chance to see sunshine. That plus the wild free-range chickens, which are just about everywhere, can't help but make you smile. How many times have you gone grocery shopping and watched people break for crossing hens and their chicks in the parking lot?

Nice condo w/great access and A/C!!

Our stay at the Kuilima Estates was very enjoyable. The unit was clean and comfortable for our family of four. My late teenage kids having their own beds was really nice. Something that’s very difficult to do with a hotel, unless you’re able to get a Suite. The A/C was great as we were there in a hot time of year (first week in September). The use of the pools and close proximity to the beach by the Turtle Bay Resort was very nice. The property manager/owner, Lata, was awesome to work with. Lata texted and left a voicemail to make sure we got into the condo okay. After our departure, our security deposit was promptly refunded. If in Oahu again, I would not hesitate to stay in this condo again! Thank you!

very great time for me, and wonderful experience for all

I had a really great time when I stayed.

but I have informed earlier that 2 of burners were not working well.(but not too much use it for me). so it was ok for me.

and if I use hot water in 1st floor toliet and 2nd floor toliet same time, the hot watter is not working well.

please check it.

Owner's Response: The Owners just want to share that the water heater in the condo is not designed to handle multiple large water consumption activities simultaneously- which is true for all the condos at KEW.

Perfect and affordable if you are just renting 1 car to stay !!!

I would give this place a 5 star, however, there are somethings that could probably be enhanced by the owner...for an amazing experience.

Positives totally outweighs con.

Even though it says 6 Max:

- I had a small 2 family, with 3 toddlers and 4 adults, the owner was very accommodating & allowed us the extra half person.

Second, the house was full of useful household items, nice dishes, nonstick pots and pans, rice cooker and even reusable plastic plates and bowls for the kids. Brand new high chair for tots. Towels and toilet papers were plentiful. (And it wasn’t paper thin.) everything you wanted in a vacation kitchen. Washer and dryer really helps so you don’t overpack (pretty new, 2016 the owner said)

Cleaning items were great and on hand. (Needed if u r ocd about sharing toilets like me) beach toys/floaties were helpful.

Also, yes you r on vacation and u don’t need cable, but man when u r having some full days at the beach, with tots, it really helps them unwind before bed, with a nice screen covered patio. (Golf course view)

WiFi was major plus.

CONS: totally not dealbreaker... it may not even apply to you.

-beds were a little firm for all of us

-shower curtains for bathtub could be changed after each renter. (They’re like $1)

-tv remote were missing batteries, we left a few spares for the next. ( I know they can’t always keep up, bc whose gna steal batteries)

This place COULD BE PERFECT if u r renting only ONE car to park.

You only get one fob to open the gate, otherwise you will be running to open for ur guest. You only get one parking, and if you have a guest that parks overnight. 80% chances are you will get a warning on your windshield the next morning.

- Like I said this is a great rental, great working AC, they even had fans to spare just in case. But the main thing is the FOB for us. The charge you a cleaning fee, which was fine, but u still should take the garbage out often!

Please, if u r thinking about this place. And the cons aren’t a big deal. Def rent this place!! I’m sorry if I offend the property management/owner, but this is my honest opinion.

Owner's Response: We thank the renter for the response. It is helpful to know what we can do to improve our condo for future renters. We only want to point out that according to the condo associate rules we are allowed one reserved parking space- point being that it's a family and/friends renting together. That also means one fob to access through security. Guest parking is considered 'day parking' so overnight doesn't fit into the rules of the association rules. That said, we do appreciate the information and hope that this helps future potential renters.

Nice place!

Lovely furnished condo in Turtle Bay. We lacked for nothing as the kitchen was well equipped. A few more towels in the main lower bathroom would have been nice (only had 2 bath size).

There's so much to see and do on the North Shore. We were lucky enough to see part of the Vans Triple Crown Surf Contest that was going on at Sunset Beach. Some great food trucks offering amazing shrimp tacos!

Unit was dirty, nice location

First, the positive...the unit was in a great location for everything we wanted to do on the north side of Oahu.

Now for the negative...the unit was not clean at all. The bathroom was dirty, something was spilled on the stove and never wiped up, and the stairs going up to the loft was full of hair. In previous posts, renters mentioned that the unit was dirty but I was overly optimistic that the problems were taken care of...unfortunately they were not. The owner either needs to get a different cleaning company or hire a cleaning company to clean the unit. One other negative -

the neighbors were very loud coming home every night between 1 & 2 in the morning; not sure if they were renters or home owners?

Unfortunately I would only give a 2.5 out of 5 stars.

Owner's Response: We appreciate the feedback on our condo. Respectfully we disagree with the comments about the stairs, which are carpeted. We recently were in the condo ourselves and observed the wrapped carpet sewing had some short threads sticking out- mainly under the stair treads, which have since been trimmed. Also, in certain daylight the carpet can reflect a different surface color which may be perceived as hair on the treads. Noisy neighbors are not acceptable and our property manager is available at any time to be contacted for resolving the issue. As owners we take all comments for improvement seriously. Thank you for providing your feedback.

Within the estate their are 3 pools and a tennis court for guests to use. The condo borders a world class golf course, and the pro shop is about a 5-10 minute walk away. A must see is the Polynesian Cultural Center, which provides visitors an opportunity to learn about Hawaiian history. Plan for a full day to visit and have dinner and see the live show at night. PCC is literally 15 to 20 minutes away.
