Our stay on the moutain
This was a our second year to stay here and we were very pleased again. The owner is great to work with . We highly recommend this house .
Clean, cozy and comfortable.
We really enjoyed our stay at the house. It was everything that was advertised and more. It was a little tricky finding our way to the house along the winding roads of Signal Hill, but after a few trips out and back, no problem. Chattanooga was a fun place for our family gathering. We hope to visit again in the coming years.
Retreat - is a fantastic way to describe this home!
Lookout Valley Neighborhood Association Retreat is a beautiful, quiet, clean, very spacious and calming place. The whole place made us feel at at home. It was like the photos showed and even better. Comfortable beds, cozy couches, updated bathrooms. The kitchen had all the needed items to eat in, and there was even the nice touch of fresh ground local coffee for helping us start our day off right. All aspects of checking in and out were incredibly easy. It is in walking distance to Signal Point National Park (amazing views and trails) and a short drive to Rock City and Ruby Falls and close to conveniences like grocery and restaurants while still feeling like we were tucked away in the mountains. This is definitely the perfect place to stay while visiting the Chattanooga area. We would love to stay again. Thank you for an amazing weekend.
Labor Day weekend 2018
Our family had a wonderful time staying in the lovely house on Signal Mountain. We have family who live in Chattanooga that came for brunch and they fell in love with it also. I loved the furnishings and original artwork throughout the house. The spacious deck was perfect for drinking coffee in the mornings and gazing at the constellations at night. We hope to stay there again and make more wonderful memories.
Perfect for our family of 5
This was truly a great choice for our stay on Signal Mountain - all the comforts of home, quiet, very clean and comfy! Great beds and pillows in the bedrooms, and nice to have so many options to sit and enjoy each other’s company!
A lovely, spacious home in a peaceful, historic mountaintop neighborhood
The McFarlane home was delightful. Big comfy chairs and sofa perfect for curling up to enjoy the mountain view through a bank of ceiling to floor windows; a broad deck on which to spend a lazy evening in conversation; outstanding Bread Basket bakery, the Hummingbird Pastaria, grocery, pharmacy, etc. all there in Signal Mountain. No need to leave the mountain -- but we did of course, what with Chattanooga's attractions so conveniently nearby.
