This comfortable, 1400-square-foot, recently updated adobe home is located within walking distance to most of Santa Fe’s sights - including downtown Santa Fe, the Santa Fe Railyard District, the Farmer’s Market, numerous top-rated local restaurants, and the art galleries of Canyon Road. It is also around the corner from the Railrunner Train Station, which takes you to/from Albuquerque, and where you can find free shuttles and other public transportation to major museums and sites in and around Santa Fe.
Each of the house’s two bedrooms has a king-size bed, a closet and chest of drawers, and its own attached bathroom. One bath offers a shower/tub combination and the other has a large walk-in shower. There is a comfortable living room, a sitting area with a firm, comfortable love seat that converts to a bed for extra sleeping space, an office area with a desk and printer/copier, and a large, sunny kitchen/dining area that looks out onto the private, enclosed yard landscaped with water-wise plants and trees. You can enjoy the wonderful Santa Fe climate at an outdoor table that seats six and is shaded by a tilt umbrella (available spring, summer and fall). A propane grill is also available on the back patio for guests to use year ’round.
Air conditioning and heating are available for your comfort, and wood is provided for use in the fireplace during cooler months.
Although its location is very convenient to many busy and popular neighborhoods, the house and the backyard are quiet and relaxing, allowing for peaceful rest and down-time away from a busy day of sightseeing, hiking, biking, skiing, shopping and dining.
