The cabin has a nice open and friendly feel, front deck, central living area, parking spots. Perfect get-away for a fishing trip, hunting trip, place to explore the Oregon and Mormon trails, take in the sights and sites of Casper and the surrounding area. Popular rock climbing, boating area, lots of things to see and do, with miles of federal lands to explore.
NOTE: We do have bedding/towels available if you need them, for a one-time charge of $25 per person. We also have sleeping bags available for purchase. These charges can be paid on check-in.
Layout of the home is a master bedroom with attached bathroom on one side of the home, 2nd bedroom and bathroom on the other side, den with french doors beside the 2nd bedroom, currently set up as a 3rd bedroom.

We love it nicr place to stay good accommodations and very clean.
When we had questions or concerns the owners were very quick to help we will defiantly be back next year
I have to say, Laurie was really nice to communicate with, but we did not even stay in the "cabin" This is no cabin it is a double wide on a pretty busy highway and dogs that bark in the dog kennels it seems as if they were going to all night. We did not even stay. The windows would not open right, it was stuffy and noisy. . I am sorry to say, but I felt it was really not what it was billed to be. A cabin is a cabin, not a double wide trailer. I blame myself too, I should have asked a lot more questions, I had a specific weekend trip in mind and this would not have provided it. A rural cabin to me means, peace, quiet, in a quiet spot and not a double wide trailer, and not with a barking dog kennel on the property. I also would not say at all this would ever fit 10 folks in it either, but I am sure it has it's functions, but not for a relaxing vacation.
Great place to stay in a great location.
Directions: From Casper, the only turn you will make is RIGHT into our driveway off highway 220. We will be the first RIGHT after passing the Sinclair Gas/Sloanes Store (on the left) in Alcova. There will be a sign for the Alcova Kennels, a red and green light marking the driveway entrance by the highway. Follow the main driveway, it will end at the Prospector's Cabin
