A stroll from the cottage will take you to the waterfront parks that give the city its charm.Parks, marinas, and "The Pier", combine with the commercial establishments to provide lots to do downtown. Year round there are special events like "Taste of Pinellas" and "Ribfest" that bring good food and music, in abundance, to the downtown bayfront. Concerts, art shows, and even motor racing add to the excitement of this beautiful waterfront setting.
The drive to Clearwater Beach is 18 miles and is roughly 40 minutes. The drive to Saint Petersburg Beach is 11 miles and is 17 minutes. St. Petersburg Beach has less traffic and less Tourists.
