St. Pete combines small town charm and big city amenities. If you don't know "the sunshine city", you must come stay with us and find out for yourself. The city itself is remarkable for its sense of place and time, as well. Downtown St. Petersburg is as uncluttered and quiet as a small town, yet alive with wonderful restaurants, shops, museums, theaters, and other entertainment.
A stroll from the cottage will take you to the waterfront parks that give the city its charm.Parks, marinas, and "The Pier", combine with the commercial establishments to provide lots to do downtown. Year round there are special events like "Taste of Pinellas" and "Ribfest" that bring good food and music, in abundance, to the downtown bayfront. Concerts, art shows, and even motor racing add to the excitement of this beautiful waterfront setting.
The drive to Clearwater Beach is 18 miles and is roughly 40 minutes. The drive to Saint Petersburg Beach is 11 miles and is 17 minutes. St. Petersburg Beach has less traffic and less Tourists.
Some people call this downtown St. Pete's little secret. We call it the perfect get away.

About Missy & Dustin

Why Missy & Dustin chose Saint Petersburg
We were attracted the charm of the old Historic Northeast part of downtown St. Petersburg. Here you get the best of both worlds, sleepy and secluded yet minutes away from the nightlife of downtown. When we travel we love using VRBO and understand the many benefits such as brining pets, kids and having all the at home amenities of cooking, tv, laundry and internet. We've put everything we love having into this quaint cottage.

Very nicely decorated and cozy apartment.
Very nice and welcoming hosts. They allowed me my space, but were there if I needed them. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants the comfort of home and some privacy at the same time. Great location, great neighborhood and wonderful hosts.
A nice and cozy, cottage chic apartment.
This was a very comfortable, quiet and tastefully decorated small cottage sitting above a garage, like many places here in historical St. Pete. The rooms were well appointed and very clean, the kitchen well-stocked, media in both the living room and bedroom, and most importantly, lot's of windows and bright light all day long. It's perfect for a couple, and the owners were very accommodating, kind and always ready to help. We had two cats with us, as we were moving to the area - so pet friendly, which is a rarity these days, and they even cleared the garage below for us so that the car was nice and cool when we went out. Free laundry service conveniently located right next door, walking distance to downtown through the beautiful Historic North district, a few blocks from the bayside for evening strolls - couldn't ask for much better than this. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting St. Pete for short or long term visits, and I hope we can come back again sometime!
