2 bed, 2 bath home in convenient west Sedona location
About Laurenn Barker
I am a photographer, sculptor and children's book author and illustrator. I have lived abroad and have traveled throughout the world. I am an environmentalist and love the artistically beautiful Sedona area. I currently live in southern California in a beach town but grew up as a mountain girl and Sedona is my gorgeous mountain getaway.
Laurenn Barker purchased this House in 2008
Why Laurenn Barker chose West Sedona
I love the special recreational, artistic and spiritual quality of Sedona and, after visiting Sedona for several years, I fell in love with the green privacy of this house and purchased it. It is in a special area of Sedona that sits above the Oak Creek aquifer and it is fed by spring water. It is quiet and peaceful yet in town with proximity to everything. It is also only 45 minutes to Flagstaff and two hours to the Grand Canyon and is in the heart of the Northern Arizona vacation land.
What makes this House unique
The quiet and peaceful, yet very convenient location make this a perfect location to relax or get around when desired. This house is screened off from the road and is hidden away in the trees and behind a wall of ivy. It has a lovely small waterfall in the front patio of the house.

Quiet and relaxing. Great location.
Thank you Laurie- I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay.
Quiet, convenient and beautiful
Quiet Haven is true to its name. Although we were only a block from restaurants, shopping and the convenience of a major road, we did not hear any road noise, only birds. The fact that the house is located on a dead end street helps a lot. House was beautiful, well stocked and nice front and back yards. Owner was very responsive. We would definitely stay there again.
This was one of the best vrbo I have stayed in. Just a great house in a great location.
Thank you Robert! We enjoyed having you and your family. Please come back whenever you are in the area.
Very lovely stay
Quiet, safe, close to Sedona and all is holds
Thank you Helen. We enjoyed having you stay with us.
Comfortable, private home
Very nice and clean home with plenty of space. Large back yard and cozy front patio enclosed with waterfall.
Thank you for your comments. It sounds like you were comfortable despite the one day of rain. I am so glad that you enjoyed your visit.
Name says it all!
Charming home with a gorgeous and secluded court yard. It felt like we didn’t have any neighbors, it was so peaceful. Comfortable and had all necessities and then some. Located in a perfect little spot in Sedona. Easy, quick drives to any part of the town or surrounding areas. Owner and manager were easy and pleasant to work with on coordinating and upon our arrival. Would highly recommend you book this gem!
Hi Brandi, I am so glad that you all enjoyed your visit! Happy to hear that it was warm enough for you to visit in the courtyard with the little waterfall. Visit us again!
Sedona is on everyone's list as one of the most beautiful places in the United States. The red rock cliffs are stunning and there are many recreational activities, plenty of arts events and galleries and wonderful restaurants in the area. From Williams, AZ and the railroad to the Grand Canyon and Flagstaff, Sedona is in the heart of the Northern Arizona recreational area. Sedona is also one of only eight communities worldwide named to be an International Dark Sky Community with minimal bright night lighting; therefore star gazing is wonderful in the area. Go to the official Sedona tourist office and they can give you brochures on information and guidance about the many things to do in the area.
