This vibrant neighborhood has a new grocery store, PCC, which is right across the street. The movie theater, the Columbia City Bakery, tons of great restaurants, gyms, live music venues and fun bars on the block. There is a Starbucks on the corner, a beautiful library across the street, the post office is around the corner, a dog park is close and the Lake and Mt. Baker Rowing Club are a 15-minute walk through the park and playing fields. There is a Farmers Market in the city on Wednesdays all Summer.
Car, bus, light rail. Lyft is preferred and often times less expensive than uber. Boasting a 92 Walk Score, it is the best of city and neighborhood living with an easy commute to SODO, Downtown, the Eastside and the airport. The Microsoft Connector and Public Bus stops a block away, with a short walk to Light Rail. Starbucks headquarters, Boeing Field, Amazon, Microsoft, University of Washington and all the major Hospitals are easy commutes. The International District and the stadiums are just a few stops on the Light Rail, along with Benaroya Hall (symphony) and the flagship Nordstrom Downtown.
This is a close courtyard community are all owners have great pride in their homes and in being good neighbors.

A late August vacation stay for our family of 5. The unit is well maintained with plenty of room on several levels (lots of stairs ). Close to several good restaurants. Not as close to downtown as the pictures on the site would suggest. Easy access via the freeway to downtown. Also easy access to the airport. No issue with the air conditioning as there are a couple of portable units which were sufficient for our stay. A bit of an issue on check in -apparently a communication issue as the contact was via text rather than email (we didn't have a mobile number in our profile). Additional fee required for early check in but perhaps can be negotiated.
We called this guest and allowed them early entry at no additional charge. they did not check their messages and thought we didn't let them check in early. Their low star rating is only because of their miscommunications. Please make sure the email and phone number on your profile are correct for communication.
Enjoyed staying at this property.
My family enjoyed staying at this property. It was convenient to get to and from downtown Seattle and was also in a cute neighborhood of its own, within walking distance of foodie places to eat, a vintage theatre, jazz venue, organic market, ice cream shops and boutiques.
Property host was also very responsive and accommodating.
Well maintained and spacious enough.
The property is closer to all of the important tourist destinations around Seattle. It is also, at a walkable distance to a ton of restaurants and grocery stores. Well maintained and spacious.
The only minor issue we had with this property is that there is no central air conditioning. In peak summer time, could get a little warm. There is a stand alone cooler unit in each bedroom though. That and the small fan units did the job for us.

Fun fact 85+% of Seattle's downtown condos are built without central air in the units. We use 2 high end a.c. units on each floor which cool the units the same as central air. Guests are very happy in 105+ degree summer heat.

Picture on VRBO does not match the property location
Decent location, close to bus stand, able to get to popular tourist spots within 20 mins. Great restaurants near by !!!.
However the house is on 3 floors and the 3rd floor got really hot, more than 90F and was hard to sleep.
The ground floor furniture was old and diplidated and not reflective of the price we paid for it. Overall i would say Average experience.
We have updated the AC system for each floor so there is ice cold air. Fun fact 85+% of Seattle's downtown condos are built without central air in the units.
