Guestbook comments from the owner

My husband and I needed a last minute get away, and we decided on and adventure in Maine. It was so much better than expected. We were met by Gerry, and he even offered to carry our luggage from our vehicle. Then he told us about the ponds, the free boats, free game room, and the history of the property.

The following day, Scott the owner took us on a 1 hour quick tour ride of the property. Moonshine caves, Bunkers, Old , historic stone foundations and boundary walls., Every day, my husband and I took long nature walks through the beautiful nature trails.

The cabins are amazing and so comfortable. Everything posted and so much more. All you need to bring is food and clothes. We cant wait to go back this fall to view the foliage.

Loved it!!!

  • 5 of 5

The property is absolutely beautiful. The cabin was impeccable. Everything was new. Scott is very friendly and welcoming, and will accommodate you the best way he can. The set-up is very relaxing and you have enough privacy. We will plan our stay for next year because I am sure it will be selling out very quickly. The complex has a game room, a swimming pond, a boating pond, laundry, HD TV with all the premium channels, air conditioning, full size brand new appliances, fully equipped kitchen, your own grill, all linens are included. All you have to bring is your food and clothing. Thank you Scott!!!

Relaxing get away

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The cabin was beautiful , clean and fully stocked. All we needed was our clothes and food. Don’t feel the need to over pack because they have washer and dryers available.

While at NWR we enjoyed nature walks, fishing, swimming,m the game room, camp fires and many other activities.

Scott and his crew are very welcoming and make you feel like part of the NWR family . We were taken on a full tour of the property with Scott and he even shared his vision for the future. We can’t wait to see the finished product. We will return for sure.

For anyone wondering about the construction going on. Yes the campground is still a work in progress but this never affected our stay. I would highly recommend Natures Wilderness Resort to all my family and friends.

The cabin is well kept and well equipped.

  • 3 of 5

The property lacked internet service which was listed in amenities. The gas grill was inoperable. We were greeted by Gary, who was very pleasant and helpful. It was nice to have the use of the kayaks and boats. We never had access to the game room. After talking to the owner Scott, we found out that he has future plans for the resort that will make it more appealing to us. If you are an outdoorsman this is definitely the place for you!

Amazing stay!

  • 5 of 5

This was a true vacation! The cabin was neat and clean. The appliances and television were top notch! The beds were super comfortable. The shower was awesome! Scott is super nice and very accommodating. The pond was so much fun for boating, and there were many boats to use whenever we wanted to. We found nice places for a walk every day, and the place for swimming was spring fed, clean, soft, and included nice sand on the bottom and a small beach. In addition to all of these great qualities, the property is well maintained with beautiful flowers and nice wind chimes everywhere! Each cottage has a picnic table and fire pit attached, and we felt like the only people on earth who found this gem, it was so ultra quiet every day and night. Can't wait to return next year!

Peaceful, clean and beautiful cabin with swimming/fishing ponds

  • 4 of 5

This log cabin home has 2 bedrooms, and one full bath. In bedroom 1, there's a king size bed, inside bedroom 2 there a double bunk bed ( bottom queen and top single). In addition to the 2 bedrooms, there's also a futon in the kitchen/living room area.

This cabin is very clean, almost like brand new, and had all the amenities i.e. Dish TV, Keurig, stove, pots and pan, Internet, dishes, silverware, clean sheets and blankets, towels, and AC.

Although there is a game room, there was just too much to do in one week. Easy bike/walking trails that circle the ponds and just a short drive to larger Sebago Lake.

One day we took a side trip to Old Orchard Beach which was about 40 minutes away. However, this cabin has its own swimming pond which the kids used for fishing and swimming.

If your looking for a peaceful and affordable cabin in the woods of Maine, this is the place for you.

See ya next year,

Anne, Seattle Washington
