Upper end of W Bay Street. Only problem, very loud until about 3 am. I think that is just Savannah! Overall, nice property!
Great place, perfect location for a couples get away!
The place is better than the pictures, which rarely happens. Secured by two coded entries, so very secure. Right on the river and balcony view right down River Street. I definitely recommend! All thumbs up!
Enjoyed this wonderful property
I stayed at this property for 10 days with my children and we all enjoyed it very much. It is beautiful and spacious and there was plenty of room for us. It is very convenient to River St and the Historic District. If you plan on sleeping early it may not be the spot for you, the location is wonderful but yes, it is a party street, especially on the weekends. There is the matter of the construction across the street that begins in the morning, but it wasn't loud in the bedroom and my teens slept in the living room which was where the construction was located and it did not seem to bother their sleep at all. The tub here is absolutely amazing, and I thoroughly enjoyed the shower pressure. We had no issues with the toilet. The parking was wonderful to have, very convenient. We could have used more towels, but luckily we brought our own and there is a washer and dryer in the unit which was very convenient. Check in and out was very simple, the owners made it easy. The biggest issue I had was my GPS brought us to River St when we arrived, we had a hard time finding the parking spot and entrance which is on Bay St. If you are using GPS it can be confusing. Once we figured it out it was easy enough. Overall this was an amazing property that I would absolutely stay at again.
completely in love with this apartment
The apartment was very clean. Everything we needed was there. Location is perfect, even with the construction still going on outside to the left of the property. We did not hear any construction noise, nor does it obstruct the view to the river. It does get noisy to some point during the weekend, when people leave the clubs and bars. But that did not bother us. We also loved that this apartment came with a parking spot, which made it so much easier (downtown gets really busy on the weekend). We will books again, if we come back to Savannah.
The history, squares, architecture @ ships is impressive.
The apartment is excellent. A bit noisy sometimes for old folks like me.
Beautiful home, convenient location
Myself and 2 friends stayed at this beautiful apartment overlooking River St. Most everything you'd want to visit in Savannah is within walking distance of the apartment. Check in and check out was easy. Bedroom, bath, and living space was everything we could have expected. We didn't spend much time there as we were on a mission to explore the city. PARKING! It was awesome to have our own parking space to come back to every evening.
On a side note, there is a building being constructed across the street with vehicles using the access road to River St. and backing up to the site often. If all I was going to do was sit in the apartment, it might have bothered me. I am also an early riser so I was usually awake before they started. It, in no way, is the owners fault so I am not basing my review on that. I also will say given the location, voices from the street below do tend to echo through the walkway and back alley, but again I wouldn't blame the owners for intoxicated people in the alley late at night. Those kinds of things are expected in cities where drinking is prevalent.
Thank you for opening your home to us, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Savannah!
