Cozy cabin just minutes from the Nisqually entrance to Mount Rainier National Park. This is the year round park entrance with great access to Longmire and Paradise. The cabin is tucked off of the main road with great privacy. The property features a sleeping loft with a queen bed, bunks in the living room, and tons of charm. This cabin is a great location for your base camp to explore Mount Rainier and has great access nearby to the Nisqually River. The local area has some great attraction as well including the steam railroad and historic church in Elbe. The cabin is well outfitted and has a good collection of games and toys for the kids.

Amazing stay, so cozy!
We had a wonderful time at this cabin! The setting was peaceful and quiet, surrounded by beautiful pines. Especially loved the retro kitchen! Stocked with many utensils, French press coffee maker (and coffee!), and many more amenities. Owners also provided firewood for us, and we enjoyed a campfire one evening. Great location! Quick drive to the nearby towns of Ashford and Elbe, and also the Paradise/Nisqually entrance to the National Park. Would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in the Rainier area, hoping to be back someday!
Beautiful cabin. Perfect location.
True to its name, this cabin is cozy and perfect for anyone wanting a quiet, deep woods experience. Full of charm with all the conveniences needed for the stay. Comfy beds, soft linens, perfect kitchen, and the fresh scent of trees makes for a wonderful get-away.
Sublime family atmosphere moments from Mt. Rainier National Park
Warm, tidy, and inviting, this cabin will be sure to charm. Plenty of room for a family of 4!
The hosts have thought of every detail. Look up, you will see a well-appointed kitchen with each cup, plate, and utensil placed as if Snow White cleaned it and put it there herself. There are spare toiletries, a hair dryer, and fluffy towels. There are toys and games on the shelves, cozy blankets and flannel sheets, comfortable memory foam mattresses, a sweet fire pit nestled below the cabin in a stand of trees, surrounded by lush ferns and a handsome footbridge that cleverly hides the water and waste lines. The cabin is also appointed with modern conveniences - hot water, wifi (not that you'll want to use it), and for those rainy nights, some entertainment.
The construction of the cabin is tight, much like a little ship. The design of the place, roughly a 20' x 20' square with a metal gable roof and a cute 9' deep front porch, is reminiscent of a tidy swiss chalet. Wooden shutters on the inside, hand-crafted wood and metal details, a ship's ladder that leads to a sleeping loft, wood built-ins, and warm blankets; cross-country skis hanging at the ready.
The design, appointment, and caretaking of this cabin says one thing: great love and care. So many hosts put minimal effort into their places for guests; this sweet little place beams with a spirit of generosity.
Our only regret is that we may not ever return, but dearly hope that one day we can and will. Enjoy this lovely place!
A wonderful little cabin in the woods!!
It was everything and more than I expected. When we had questions about the utilities we were met with a quick response. I would rent this cabin again in a heartbeat.
Our family loved our time at the cabin. It was small and cozy, with everything we needed to have a great few days reconnecting.
We enjoyed a great time!
Everything was as promised and very comfortable. The owner went out of her way to communicate with us in advance, making sure we had no questions or concerns. Thank you!
