Great Getaway

We were lucky to find this place. It is nicely remodeled, clean, and overall pleasant. Nancy was very quick in responding to any questions and she resolved a concern that we had very efficiently. It was a pleasure staying there and dealing with Nancy. Thank you! We strongly recommend this place!

The weekend started great until there was an enormous fire next door May 2016

My family and I rented all 3 of the condos. We had a fantastic weekend!! The condos were nice and we had great access to the beach. The only problem we had was not having internet access. The grounds keeper tried to fix but was not successful. That was a small issue that was not concerning. On our last night an enormous fire occurred next door. My family and I were forced to evacuate that evening. If you google “fire on Estero Blvd” you can see how major this fire was. Sadly, it even resulted in one person dying and two injured. My family and I were terrified. As we evacuated we could feel the heat on our faces and could barely see with all the smoke around us. It is a night that we will never forget. We were able to re-enter the condo hours later to retrieve out belongings. The smoke within the condo was too much for us to bare. Especially for our 7 year old that has asthma. We immediately retrieved our belongings and left. All of our cars were covered with ash and had to be professionally detailed to restore the damage to the paint jobs. I wrote a very nice e-mail to the owner immediately informing her of the fire. I was surprised that a refund was not offered. Days later, I requested that I receive a refund for that night and was denied. Nancy never asked if I was ok or anything! She referred me to her insurance company and they told me that it is her responsibility to refund me. When I e-mailed her again she told me that she would not refund me. If you want a nice, inexpensive place to rent then this is a great place to stay. However…if there are any emergencies that take place, be PREPARED NOT TO RECEIVE A REFUND. It is so disappointing that after being quickly evacuated for 5 hours on the street, in our pajamas, with no shoes, terrified that we were in danger this was not enough to warrant a refund.

Great pool, great service

We just stayed here for spring break with our two college aged children. The location was perfect. We were right across the street from the beach, and we had a pool in the back. We are more pool people than beach so we loved this. The pool is shared by 5-6 other units, but if feels like your own personal space. There is a bathroom right by the pool. Also a screened in porch with washer & dryer and frig. All very handy. We were about 1 1/2 mile from the "action" which was great because our kids could walk to the fun but we were not in the middle of all the spring break "events" on the beach. We did rent bikes which was a great way to get around. Also the Publix grocery store is about 1 mile away, very handy. There was a trolley that runs on the mail road, but we did not take it since the road gets quite busy during the day. Overall this was an excellent place and Terri & Nancy were very helpful.

Two adults and dog

We were alittle disappointed, we thought we would get a king bed, twin beds and a queen pull out. We only had a queen and two twins. Washer and dryer where coin operated down by the pool. The unit was not very clean and could use alot of updating. We were told we would have a garage but it was full of junk and could not use it which made it hard to put our bikes in it. Location was good right across from the beach.

Owner's Response: We have 3 units and they are clearly marked on the vrbo site and only one unit has the king bed. In there inquiry the issue of a bed was not brought up and as far a garage I do not have them as part of the rental except for one unit who has been a repeat customer for the last 5 years. There is plenty of parking and also a screened in patio where the bikes could have been stored. As far as the cleanliness this is the first complaint and they never indicated to me the whole time they were there that the unit was not clean. My cleaner lives on site and she would have cleaned anything that was not up to standards if they would have mentioned the same.

Nancy is always helpful and corrects any problems immediately if they arise. Property is very clean and well maintained. We have vacationed at this property 5 times and have always had an enjoyable stay, would definately recommend.
