Wake up to the sight of seabirds soaring above the sparkling Gulf of Mexico. Fall asleep to the surf lapping onto the sugary white beach. Spend your days swimming, paddleboarding, canoeing, kayaking, parasailing, and searching the sands for shells and shark’s teeth. When you stay at Treasure Island 802, a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo that sleeps 8, you can do all that and more. It really is beachfront living at its finest.
The balcony of Treasure Island 802 looks out directly onto the gulf. It’s furnished with a dining table, a smaller card table, and plenty of chairs. You can play games, read, and dine alfresco amid the fresh salt-tinged sea air. You’ll also have a front-row view to the spectacular sunsets over the gulf and be able to stargaze at night.
The sliding glass doors that connect the balcony to the living room allow you to relish the view even while you relax indoors. Handsomely furnished with leather seating, the living room invites you to make yourself at home. Stretch out on the sofa to watch your favorite cable shows on TV, curl up in the armchair to surf the web via the free WiFi, gather around the coffee table for a game of Pictionary: You’re on vacation—take it easy and enjoy!
In addition to the balcony’s dining area, Treasure Island 802 has an indoor dining table that seats 4, and there’s room for 4 more at the breakfast bar. The kitchen is equipped with all the appliances, gadgets, cookware, and tableware you could possibly need, whether you’re hosting a holiday feast or reheating leftovers from the previous night’s restaurant meal (and there are numerous restaurants nearby to choose from). The open layout means you can gaze out at the gulf even as you cook. And because nobody wants to scrub dishes when the beach just steps away, the kitchen has a dishwasher. For even more convenience, the unit has its own private washer and dryer too.
The master bedroom, like the living room, features sliding glass doors that open onto the balcony. From the 4-poster king-size bed you can watch dolphins frolic in the waves. The master bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom as well, with dual sinks and plenty of storage for all your toiletries.
The 2nd bedroom is nearly as luxe, with a lofty queen-size bed. The kids will enjoy sleeping in the cozy alcove with its built-in twin bunk beds. And because the living room sofa opens into a queen-size bed, 2 more guests can sleep there.
You probably won’t have much time for sleeping, however; there’s simply too much to do! The Treasure Island complex has a 120-foot beachfront swimming pool that’s heated during the cooler months. After your swim you can dry off on a poolside chaise or seek out the shade of a gazebo. If you’ve worked up a thirst, you don’t have to go far to quench it: There’s a poolside café during the high season (generally between mid-March through mid-October). Treasure Island has a fitness center too, with treadmills, elliptical machines, and free weights. Post-workout, treat yourself to a soak in the outdoor spa. The complex also has a pair of charcoal grills on the poolside deck and 2 gas grills on the deck outside the 3rd floor of the parking garage.
And then there’s the sparkling white beach. Treasure Island includes 420 feet of private beach. If you stay in unit 802 during the high season, you’ll have free use of 2 padded beach chairs and an umbrella, compliments of the owner.
Also during the high season, Treasure Island 802—like many other Panama City Beach condos—rents only by the week, with a Saturday arrival. But you’ll want at least one week to take advantage of everything that the area has to offer. So book your stay today, and get ready for fun in the Florida sun.
Please Note: A $20.00 Registration fee is requested and collected by Treasure Island upon arrival. This fee covers up to 2 vehicles and mandatory wristbands. A $100 fee will be assessed for any additional vehicle thereafter.
