About Vikki Jolly
Welcome to Rose Rentals! I grew up in the beautiful area of Christchurch so know it really well. That's me in the photo. We are so blessed to have the combination of the coast and the New Forest to offer you. I have often rented self catering properties and quickly learnt from my own experience what works and what doesn't! We are a small family run business. Janet (who will look after you during your stay), Maggie (photographed) and Vikki (who will take care of your reservation). Our guests return time and time again. We look forward to welcoming you. Our guests say:' We had a lovely time in this wonderful area. Excellent accomodation - very clean and comfortable.'
Vikki Jolly purchased this Cottage in 2009
Why Vikki Jolly chose Mudeford
This is a unique property in the area with the interconnecting House (sleeps 4) and Cottage (sleeps 2). You can rent either or both depending on the size of your party. We have 3 properties in the area - Quay Reach is our most recent addition and is perfectly positioned very close to the beach, bus stops, a great pub, restaurants, local shops, a play area and cricket ground and a fish and chip shop! You don't need to drive anywhere if you don't want to! Or if you want to explore there is so much to see along the coast. Whatever the weather! Our guests say: 'A perfect base to explore the area, and to recharge those batteries! The house has everything you would ever need.'
What makes this Cottage unique
An interconnecting House (sleeps 4) and Cottage (sleeps 2) which you can rent independantly or together. Perfect for travelling with friends/grandparents/teenage children who might want their own space and privacy. It's great to have the flexibility. Both the House and Cottage have pretty gardens to enjoy. Our guests say: 'A lovely house. If only mine was as tidy and sparkling as this!'

Great place to stay
Apart from a battle to open the key box, everything went very smoothly. We were greeted by roses on the table, the cottage was nicely furnished (it even had a brand new TV and toaster). A problem with the heating was quickly sorted by the wonderful housekeeper and her husband. Would definitely recommend it.
Thank you for your kind comments Christine. I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay and we were able to resolve the issue with the boiler quickly for you. We would very much welcome you back in the future.
Holiday let mudeford
We thouroghly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property and surrounding area.
Thank you for your kind review - we would of course love to welcome you back in the future :-)
Lovely cottage for a seaside break
We really enjoyed our stay and the property was lovely. Great location near to the quay and beach, as well as virtually opposite a good little park for the kids, and a local pub for us. Also convenient for us as it is minutes away from the in-laws!
The only drawback for us was that there were no stair gates, but we knew that when booking, at which time our youngest wasn't quite so active anyway, so that couldn't be helped.
Overall lovely property - we would definitely stay there again!
Perfect location by the sea
Quay Reach House is very comfortable and ideally located for exploring the surrounding areas. We had a very enjoyable week with lovely walks and found the local bus services excellent.
Thank you for your kind review David. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay at Quay Reach House. We would very much welcome you back in the future.
Clean and well equipped in a great location. Thank you
Thank you Rebecca, we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay and very much look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
Well looked after property
We had a 4night stay in this lovely 1 bedroom property early in May. It was very clean & well looked after. When we arrived there was a welcome tray of tea, sugar & milk, another lovely touch was a vase of flowers.
At first we were concerned as the cottage is next to the main road which passes through Mudeford, & across the road is a pub. But even with that, the nights were very quiet & peaceful.
The property has lawns, trees & shrubs on 3 sides in which there were lots of birds, we also saw a fox & a squirrel.
The only down-side was there were no comfy chairs to sit outside in the sun, just 2 small bistro type chairs.
The beds were very comfortable, with fresh clean linen.
It is just a short walk to Mudeford Quay & just down the road was a newsagents shop which also sold some food items.
We have stayed in several rentals over the years & this must rate as probably the best we have stayed in.
Thank you so much for your kinds review Chris and pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay. We would very much look forward to welcoming you back in the future :-)

Avon Beach: Clean sandy beaches, safe swimming, and views to the Isle of Wight. Facilities are excellent, including Avon Beach Café and shop, deck chairs, canoes and beach huts available for hire. Gundimore Promenade links the beach to Mudeford Quay where you can try your hand at crabbing, take a ferry trip to Mudeford Sandbank or simply enjoy the views.
Stanpit Marsh Nature Reserve: The 65 hectare site has an unusual combination of habitats including salt-marsh, reed-beds, freshwater marsh, gravel estuarine banks and sandy scrub.
