Step into "The Briley", a delightful 3 bedroom, 2.5.5 bath home located on the water in the Salty Shores subdivision of Newport, NC, nestled in between Cape Carteret and Morehead City. Boaters will adore this cheery home with direct water access and views of ICW/Bogue Sound! Guests will have access to the locked community paved boat ramp located right beside the home. In addition, "The Briley", newly bulk-headed, offers jet ski lifts and a 9x16 floating dock where you may tie up your boat or jet skis in the newly dredged canal. The home, with a large covered deck which circles the majority of the home, is well maintained with colorful coastal themed furniture and bedrooms. Guests will have plenty of space to relax in the three bedrooms~the master bedroom features a king sized bed with ensuite bathroom with separate shower stall and Jacuzzi tub. The remaining two bedrooms are upstairs for additional privacy and shared family bathroom. The first bedroom allows guests the variety of three beds: one queen, one double and one single while the second bedroom offers one queen and one single bed in the room. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with combination tub and shower. For guest convenience, linens and bath towels are provided. The fully outfitted kitchen provides ample seating between the dining room table and the breakfast bar while the cozy living room provides comfortable couches and seats for the ultimate in relaxation. A half-bath, tucked right off the kitchen, and laundry room with washer and dryer complete the layout of the first floor. WiFi is available throughout the home and TVs are featured in each of the bedrooms, the kitchen, and the living room. The DirectTV package includes HBO and Showtime premium channels.
And don't leave your family dog at home! Yes, "The Briley" is pet-friendly for up to two well behaved, non-aggressive breed dogs. Please note a non-refundable pet fee will be charged for each pet. The back of the yard is fenced for convenience in letting your dog enjoy his time on the waterfront, as well! For ease in transport of groceries and luggage, a handy cargo lift is available for use in the rear of the home. Parking is plentiful for up to five vehicles or four vehicles and boat trailer. There's even an extra bathroom on the ground level for quick use after boating. A gas grill and cornhole boards complete the amenities of this truly family-friendly vacation rental.
"The Briley" rents weekly on a Sunday to Sunday basis. Four night stays allow for flexibility in check in days. Linens and towels provided. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING ALLOWED!

My family had an amazing time at 'The Briley'! It was a nice quiet get away with plenty of room. The house is beautiful and the wrap around porch was such a relaxing place to sit. The fenced in yard was a plus for my dog. We took our boat and the access ramp was right next to house and the canal was deep enough that we never had to worry about low tide. This house had everything my family needed for the perfect vacation. This neighborhood is very family friendly. I would love to stay there again!
It is a nice quiet neighborhood. Family oriented. Gate around the back of home and pet friendly. Lift to use to carry grocery upstairs. Water access for my boat. Able to leave boat in the water entire time we were there. Angelfish Properties made my stay so easy. I had a couple of questions after arriving and they were quickly available.
The Briley for the Week of Valentine's Day
I rented The Briley for the week of Valentine's Day for me and my fiance to get away. I was thoroughly pleased with my stay. The place was excellent, plenty of room and was located near the mouth of a canal leading into the ICW. It was located in a quiet neighborhood that made the romantic getaway great! The property is also wonderful for boat owners with access to a private boat landing that has the capacity to launch large boats as well as small. Private dock was also included so I was capable of leaving my boat in the water for the duration of our stay. I hope to find another week available in the fall to stay here again when the fishing season is at its peak. The excellent service we received from Angelfish Properties will have me returning to them even if this property is booked.

An e-check is the preferred method of payment as no additional convenience fees are charged. Should you wish to pay by credit card, please understand a 3% convenience fee will be calculated on the total amount due. Upon the return of your security deposit, the 3% convenience fee charge will then be deducted from the security deposit, less any damages (if applicable) following a satisfactory check-out. Security deposits will be returned within 14 days of departure. Size and breed of dog must be disclosed. Pet fees are not damage deposits and are non-refundable. A trip insurance quote from Red Sky Travel Insurance will be included on price quote after acceptance of booking. The traveler has the option to accept or decline the travel insurance provided by Red Sky.
