About Scott H. Thompson
Decatur Native attorney married to Atlanta native attorney, 3 kids, urban gardener with about 750,000 bees (not on this property!) and exactly 26 laying hens (not here either). Youth coach, Rotarian, Mountain Biker, Birder, Geek. I couldn't have imagined what an incredible business experience this has been for a young lady. Letting her convert a few of our apartments into short-term rentals has given her first-hand business experiences that babysitting just doesn't cover!!
Scott H. Thompson purchased this House in 1995
Why Scott H. Thompson chose College Heights
When i retire, i'm going to build a Frank-Lloyd-Wright ish house on this creek, it's an amazing piece of property
What makes this House unique
Decatur! Don't get me started..... It's a $5 uber ride to the train station Great dog walking. Great patio for hanging out. It's a side-by-side duplex but you only share ONE wall, and it's a hallway. You share no space at all, separate entrance, everything Late check-ins are never a problem since we'll assign you a door code, and you don't need to meet for your 'key". Early check-in and late checkout depend on both your requests and the preceding/ following guests', then me negotiating something reasonable.

It was wonderful -- comfortable, beautiful scenery
It was a fun, comfortable stay. Beautiful scenery and quiet surroundings. Lots of lighting outside at night. Gorgeous views from living room. Driveway was damaged in a storm but easy work around. Convenient washer/ dryer. Loved it! I so appreciate the flexibility of staying there and close to Agnes Scott. At end of a quiet cul de sac. I recommend a lovely stay here. Clean, and quiet.
Cute Little Place
We only stayed here for one night. It was a stop on our way from Northern Michigan to Melbourne Beach, Florida. We got in at about 9:30pm, but we had a code for the lock box to the house so we could get in easily without bothering anyone. My kids LOVED it. It was cute and clean. Great experience.
Spacious, comfortable, and convenient!
Scott went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. He and his daughter have stocked this clean and spacious apartment well. The only thing that might make it better would be the addition of some bedroom lamps, and maybe a USB charging outlet in each room.
We will be back!
Thank you so much!
Perfect for a family vacation!
We took our three kids to Atlanta for a quick family vacation and this place was perfect! It was so nice to have a place that was restful away from the city but still close. There were several beds so all of us were able to get a great night's sleep. We also found the space to be clean and everything was labeled well. We are already thinking about coming back and I hope we can stay again.
Creekside house downtown
The location was perfect but the access to the house is not safe because it fell part of the entrance to the driveway and the bridge that built according to de warnings of the city is no safe. The house needs a bit more cleaning, maybe should open windows before guests arrive because not smell good and have easy access to the laundry. Mireya Rico
Everything a family needed under one roof
This home had everything we needed. Close to amenities like shopping, restaurants. This was a nice little duplex down a quiet cul-de-sac.
