I chose to buy this property in this area because it is a oceanfront property and this is the closest you can be to the ocean. Because of rules and regulation now no one can build so close to the beach anymore.

What makes this condo unique

I enjoy the sound of the waves, the sunrise in the morning, the miles and miles of soft white sand, the clear blue water just like the Caribbean ocean. The attractions in St. Augustine downtown areas, and the property is on an Island, Anastasia Island how cool is that.

Good Basic Beach Condo for the Price

Our condo was small but included everything we needed, I would say definitely too small for 2 couples. The queen size bed is very comfortable and my husbands back felt fine in the mornings. The shower is adequate, but often there would be limited hot water for back to back showers. the bathroom has been updated and is nice, although we did not use the jetted tub. The owner responds promptly to any questions. The location is a drive to Old Town taking about 20 min to get there off season. The condo is right on the Crescent Beach and you can see the ocean waves over the dunes while sitting on the couch in the living area. The pool is steps outside the door and the pool is heated. There is a barbecue area and grills that are available for use and plenty of parking. To get to the first floor, one must walk up a set of stairs or a ramp. The elevator then is available. There is a Publix available about 5 miles away and we can recommend the Irish Pub across the street and the beach bar and restaurant right next door. We also ate at the Beachcomber right on the beach and the burgers were great. In fact there are plenty of good restaurants right along the beach with no need to go into Old Town if that's what you want to do. If you are going to Old Town I would suggest the Old Town Trolley. We had a 3 day pass which includes free parking, so we would park, ride the trolley to where we wanted to go and then take the trolley back to our car. Even during off season, parking is difficult in Old Town. Our favorite restaurant there was the Raintree. The food was excellent and moderately priced and it has a lovely outdoor eating area. We had Sunday brunch there and then dinner one night and the filet mignon dinner and lobster tale dinner were outstanding. Don't miss the Fountain of Youth, the park is lovely.

Numerous problems

Limited hot water, shower drain stopped up so every shower was in standing water, cockroaches, dishes in the cabinets were dirty, and ceiling fans and floors were so dirty. We got locked out during our visit and the owner was really helpful for that. We liked the location of the room and the complex was nice for an older place. The photos don't show how outdated the condo is. Crescent beach can't be beat, it's peaceful and not a ton of people around. If the issues are fixed it could be nice.

Very cozy pool front/ ocean view condo

We loved being pool front and also an ocean view! It great to be able to take our yorkies with us on vacation, couldn't stand the thought of leaving them at a boarding facility.

It is a small condo but the perfect size for a couple. It could stand to have a thorough cleaning but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Jazz was great and answered with any questions we had.

I just use this house keeper as a fill in for A month now and I did not supervise her So I have to take the blame. Now that I got Your feedback I will correct the situation And do a deep clean as soon as my other Guest check out. As a owner I cleaned for Many years and my review was perfect as you can see, but not all the time your help Do as you would like them to do.
