Relax and unwind in our beautiful ground floor end unit 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo. Our resort is surrounded by oak trees draped with Spanish moss and azaleas giving it a quaint southern charm feel.
Our home is fully furnished and sleeps 4 people with one queen bed and 2 twin beds. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with a shower and tub.
There is a 40 inch flat screen TV in the master bedroom and a 50 inch TV in the living room. Both have basic cable, the living room TV is equipped with a TV and movie service that offers thousands of current and classic commercial free TV shows as well as classic and new movies. Wi-Fi and internet are available.
The kitchen is fully equipped with the everyday essentials along with a coffeepot, dishwasher, electric stove and microwave. There is also a stackable washer and dryer.
Enjoy your morning cup of coffee sitting on the screened in porch while you listen to the ocean waves. Watch for woodpeckers, peregrine falcon as they seem to float aimlessly in the sky, and an occasional night time visit from owls.
In addition to the pool and tennis court the resort also offers a catch and release pond, which is also home to turtles you often see sunning themselves on the banks. There are picnic benches and grilling areas near the pool and near the condo.
The ocean is a short 5 to 10 minute walk away or a 3 block drive. There is a small free parking area with restrooms and outdoor showers.
Amelia Island is 13 miles long and approximately 4 miles wide at its widest point. It is the southernmost of the SeaI Islands, a chain of barrier islands stretching along the east coast of the United States from South Carolina to Florida.
There are several golf courses on Amelia Island. The Omni at Amelia is a resort that features the Long Point Course, The Golf Club of Amelia Island is at the Summer Beach Resort, and the Amelia River Golf Club is located nearby as well as the Fernandina Beach Golf Club, known to locals as the "City Course".
There are several state parks including Ft. Clinch, Big Talbot Island and Little Talbot Island for those interested in history or hiking trails.
Amelia Island loves to entertain; the Jazz Festival, Concourse Week, Wild Nature Festival, Chamber Music, Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival to name a few. There are unique events year round to experience.
Downtown features a variety of eclectic shops and the Marina.
There are ice cream parlors, pizza shops and fine dining, surf shops, scooter and bike rentals and horseback riding on the beach
Jacksonville is a 45 minute drive and the historic St. Augustine is about an hour and a half away.
With all the island has to offer and the beach town feel it’s no wonder Amelia Island has been rated one of the top 10 island vacation destinations by TripAdvisor Travelers Choice Award and Conde’ Nast Readers’ Choice Award for 2016.
