beautiful setting on a quite lake
it was just what we where looking for peaceful and cabin had all we needed and was very clean
Peaceful, cozy cabin on lovely lake.
We enjoyed our stay in the cozy cabin on Trapper Lake. The setting was lovely and peaceful. The cabin and property were just as shown and described in the property listing, so no surprises. The kitchen was well-stocked with practical items that we hadn't thought to bring, which was very helpful. Although a canoe and peddle boat were there, we brought our own kayaks and enjoyed using them both on Trapper Lake and on area lakes. We enjoyed touring the area, including Bayfield and the Apostle Islands. We also enjoyed meals at a couple of area restaurants including Pla Mor and Lakewoods Resort. We had a great stay at the cabin on Trapper Lake!
We wanted a peaceful vacation and this is what we received. When we walked into the cabin, I felt like I was at a family cabin. The cabin had everything that we could possibly need. The lake and the boats offered were great, but from our days travel we didn't use them. We loved the peaceful sunrise mornings and the peaceful sunset evenings with the loons calling. We cooked at the cabin, but were able to enjoy the surrounding restaurants - Pizza at the Loon Saloon, Burger Monday at the Pioneer Bar (Friendly bartender and patrons), and the best was the all you can eat wings and the all you can eat fish at the Pla-mor. We traveled to Duluth and the nothern shore of Lake Superior, the flea market in Hayward (a real treat), explored Bayfield, Cornucopia and the Red Cliff Reservation. The Apostle Islands tour and trip to Madeline Island was amazing. A trip to the casino in Ashland was nice, since we won. We traveled alot of the back roads exploring. Extra special was that you welcomed my pets. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Comfortable cabin on quiet lake
Cabin was very comfortable and has all the amenities. Quiet lake and serene surroundings. Enjoyed the lake, campfires in the evening, and very quiet at night for sleeping. May consider staying again in the future!
Thank you for your thoughtful review. We’re so happy you enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you again!

Fun cabin for a family
This is a wonderful property which was perfect for getting away for a week to relax by the lake. The fishing was wonderful and we put them all back, so they are there for the next person. The property was well stocked and had everything needed. The area is nice and the local restaurants and bars are all close and friendly. 10 out of 10 would rent again.
Just what we were looking for!
Adorable rustic cabin on a private lake. Great location for our day trips to Copper Falls state park, Ashland and Bayfield to take the ferry to Madeline Isand. It was so nice to come back to our quiet cabin rather than a crowded resort or campground. In the days we stayed at the cabin we were able to make use of some of the provided equipment like the canoe and row boat. We watched the elusive loons on the lake and saw plenty of wildlife. Made lots of campfires and memories! The cabin is well stocked with anything you may have forgot to bring. Did I mention adorably rustic? Very family friendly!
Located deep in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest with over 1.5 million acres of pure wilderness there is plenty of wildlife and outdoor activities. Camba bike and Hiking trails just minutes away! Also, ATV trail access is nearby.
