Beautiful detached custom laneway house on a quiet, tree lined street in desirable Kitsilano - only minutes away from shops, parks & beaches. Newly built in 2017 with brand new furnishings throughout. We designed and built this home over the course of a year and a half and obsessed over every detail to ensure it was as comfortable & stunning as we could possibly make it. There are 2 levels to this 750 sq ft laneway house with the garden level featuring an open concept kitchen, large bay window to relax on, powder room & living area that opens up to an outdoor patio through french doors, complete with hickory hardwood flooring and in floor heating throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and features beautiful quartz counter tops and quality, stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher and a beautiful designer chandelier. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom complete with a soaker tub. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed, top of the line organic natural memory foam mattress, top quality pillows & linens, closet for luggage and belongings and a beautiful designer glass crystal chandelier. There's also in-suite laundry, high speed Internet / Wi-Fi and 46" Sony HD TV complete with a cable package. Free parking is available on the street out front of the main house but the laneway house also has its own dedicated parking space right next to its front door. Perfect retreat for couples or families. Many more eye catching details and features to discover upon your stay. About The Owner

We are two working professionals raised locally but have travelled extensively throughout multiple continents and lived abroad in the UK and France for several years. We are now settled in Vancouver and wanting to share our beautiful property with you. David likes the outdoors and taking care of the plants. Connie likes all things sparkly and nice. Together we like calm and quiet. We also have two young children who like to sleep early!

Why The Owner chose West Side

We wanted to build a special little house for our two daughters to move into (should they wish) when they are old enough. Lucky for us, our property is zoned such that we could build this little house right on our property. So we started this little project in 2016, obsessing over all the little details. We are extremely happy with the finished product and would like to share it with our guests in the meantime.

This is a lovely laneway house, in a lovely neighbourhood, in a lovely city! The home is easy to access, fully equipped and quite comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area. It's the perfect home base for a Vancouver adventure.
