Why Kim Lewis chose Pequot Lakes
We love the West Twin cabin because it is in the heart of Minnesota greatness, without having to drive or hours. The cabin is surrounded by activities, yet offers the serenity of the lake and loons at the end of the day.

Beautiful place. Kind of cool to enjoy the lake shore
Love this place!
Our stay on West Twin Lake was fantastic. The house was very clean with an open floor plan to give everyone room to move. The kitchen was large enough so that more than one person could be doing something be it prepping or cooking. Plenty of utensils and a fairly large refrigerator was also appreciated. The lack of dishwasher allowed/forced the older kids to lend a hand. Loved the layout with two main bedrooms on either end with their own private bathrooms. This gave the adults privacy and a chance to get away if needed. The middle two bedrooms had quick access to the third bathroom and were able to accommodate grandkids ranging in age from 15 to 2. The two decks also worked well for us. It allowed parents of little ones to sneak away for some early morning fishing without interruption. The beach area was wonderful. Sandy and no weeds. Having access to the pontoon was great. As the description says it’s not the newest but it gets the job done. We all had a good time just chugging around the lake. Loved hearing the loons. We watched in awe as a bald eagle flew by right in front of us as we stood on the dock. The older kids loved the paddle boat and the kayaks. The memories we created on the beach still make me smile. All of us were either in the water, sitting in the chairs or dangling our feet off the dock for hours. The fire pit was well used, and we really appreciated access to all the firewood we needed. (Yes, we did have s’mores.) The large driveway and the garage made parking a breeze. Kim was quick to respond to any questions. By quick I mean inside of ten minutes. We definitely recommend this house and will book it again for our next family trip.
Thank you Steve for staying with us. So glad you made s’mores and great memories. Hope to see you again soon!
Great for large family
Our family of 7 (baby, toddler, teenagers and 40 somethings) loved this cabin!
It was very clean when we arrived. The floors were spotless (important with a crawling baby).
We enjoyed the view of the lake while hand washing dishes. The garage space was a great place to hang out in the rain for the kids to run around. The beds were super comfy too.
Beautiful landscaping. Nice clean Beach. Well kept dock and deck. Stairs leading down to beach are a bit steep. Loved the night lights in the evenings.
Loved the location. The cabin was very comfortable for the 7 of us. Very quiet lake, great for water activities. The steps down to the lake were a little difficult due to the high risers. Wish the lake had better fishing. Home owners were very accommodating. Overall, we had a great vacation!
Perfect, private get away spot
We loved out time at this house on a beautiful, scenic lake. This house had everything our 3 families needed for the week and was only 5 minutes from the activities in Nisswa! A great yard for family games, a clean lake to swim and fish, and a fun little beach for campfires. Along with a pontoon, paddle boat, and kayaks, this was a great place to rent. We loved our stay!
Everything was very nice from the cabin to the lake shore
Cabin, lake shore and area were a perfect getaway 🤗
