My wife and I were born and raised in Versilia. Our area is renowned for its marble. For many years I worked in my family's business of diamond plating tools used for cutting marble. After some years my wife and I moved abroad. We are very grateful to my mother in law, Daniela, who looks after the house and takes care of the guests on their arrival. Guests will receive Daniela's contact details. Although we live abroad guests can also contact us by telephone or by email. What makes this Barn unique

Although it has been restored we kept some of the original features in order to preserve it's historic value and in so doing it now has a rustic though modern style. Warm yet bright colors gives the house a romantic feel. At the entrance you will notice the original marble arch, while in the kitchen you can still see the original ceiling constructed in the typical style of the area. We have preserved the original stonework and this can be seen throughout the house. Beautiful views of the Apuane Alps can be seen from the bedroom window. We have given attention to even the smallest detail of our home and it is conveniently located only 10 minutes by car from the beach!
