The Grand Max is perhaps the best place to stay and to enjoy Amsterdam, right between the famous museums and where the action is, but in the quiet and fashionable south part of the UNESCO canal zone. With a surface of 150 sq.m. (1.600 it is fully private on the upper three floors of owner Marc’s 19th century landmark private canal house, fully air conditioned and has a large lounge, a well equipped kitchen, and three bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom.
The light and airy interior with its high ceilings has a mix of furnishings and swanky colours that read beautifully against the architectural wood and plasterwork. The spacious lounge has a splendid view of the surroundings, from the Prinsengracht canal right in front all the way to the Rijksmuseum. The well equipped half open kitchen and the dining room open onto the roof terrace.
The owner and his family live on the lower floors of the house.
