The Hilltop House is a 3-story home with colonial and quebecois influences perched on a boulder hill overlooking the Madawaska and Saint John River Valleys. The house is private surrounded by trees and fields. It is less than 10 minutes off the TransCanada and 10 minutes to the city center of Edmundston known as the Gateway to the Maritimes.
The house is newly remodeled with a 2-story great room with living room, dining room, and kitchen. There are two master bedrooms suites, one on each of the 2nd and 3rd floors. Each has a queen bed and private bath. The wrap-around deck provides stunning east, south, and west views of the valley. Multi-colored sunrises, sunsets, and rainbows are a regular occurrence.
The Madawaska and St. John River Valleys are a treasure trove of places to explore, activities to do, serene vistas to relax, and history to learn. There are gardens, cathedrals, icewalls to climb, trails for mountain biking, hiking and cross country skiing, lakes and rivers to fish, golf and history to explore. Festivals occur throughout the summer.
