1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom Apartment
About Jo Mark
I currently live in Australia and visit the UK every year to see my grown up children and to spend time with my three grand children. Having lived in the UK for most of my life, I know and love the area of Ashtead, it is ideal for travelling up to London without having to worry about the daily hassle and bustle of the big city.
Why Jo Mark chose Ashtead
As I visit the UK every year, I decided to be fair to the children it would be good to have my own place when I visited. It is a lovely part of the world and my three children live in Surrey so is a good central location. It also lends itself to holiday lets of all kinds and has been equipped so it is like home form home when I arrive.

Exactly as Described
I very much enjoyed my week in this apartment.
The block is very quiet and well placed for public transport into London, and access to arterial roads when driving. Being equidistant between Gatwick and Heathrow was a bonus. The apartment is well equipped and clean. I would not hesitate to recommend it.
Really nice apartment even for a long stay
We have stayed in this apartment for a longer period and really enjoyed it. The apartment itself is in a very good condition, equipped with everything you would need (and even more). Jo, the owner is really nice and helpful with all queries.
Very comfortable, clean and convenient.
Flat was great to stay in for an extended period of time. It has a nice layout, is very clean and well maintained. It is also very well equipped. The area in which it is situated is pleasant and feels safe with less than 10 minutes walk to the station. It’s location was ideal for us with easy access to M25 and other main routes.
The owners were readily available to address questions etc.
The only negative for us is the bed is a little too firm and quite low to the floor. However, we managed.
We are feeling sad to leave it today, our last day. We would not hesitate to use the flat again and highly recommend it.
Thank you for your kind words, it was great having you to stay and we look forward to welcoming you again. Best wishes for your onward trip.
The apartment is well presented in a convenient location close to M25.
I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area. It is modern, clean
and tidy with all the necessary amenities, including a photocopier.
Lovely clean flat. Good location. Walking distance to train to London and close to M25. Also walking distance to shops, take away sand pub. Overall a good place to stay.
Thank you so much for the review of the flat, I am so pleased you had a good stay.
The apartment was lovely, has everything you need. We stayed here so we could commute to London for sightseeing. The train station is just a short walk away. It was perfect for what we needed. The owner Jo was very accommodating and easy to contact which is extremely helpful when you are having a bad start to you holiday with a vehicle breakdown and end up not arriving until midnight. I would definitely recommend this lovely apartment for a holiday. Hopefully we will be back sometime.
Thank you for such a lovely review, it was a pleasure having you to stay.
Ashtead, is a lovely village in the beautiful County of Surrey. This property is a great base for those wanting to explore the South East, a short drive or bus trip to the famous Denbies vineyard, where you can do wine tours or just enjoy a walk in the beautiful surroundings and a leisurely lunch. Or a train trip to the coastal town of Brighton. The property is a short walk to the local train station where you can hop on board a train right into the heart of London.
The property is in walking distance to shops, restaurants and good old English Pubs, or just settle down to a cosy night in after a long day of walking or cycling in the countryside, all available within a short drive from the property.
There are a number of National Trust Properties close by, along with places such as Wisely Gardens, Hampton Court Palace and Windsor Castle. For the more adventurous, there are theme parks such as Chessington World of Adventures, Thorpe Park and Thorpe Water Ski Park.
This location really does cater for most, with access to nights out in London or stay local and visit one of lovely restaurants or public houses located in the village.
