Ideal Location With A Great View
I found dead bugs of some sort in the bed sheets. Not sure what they were. I looked for bed bugs in the usual places and found none.
The front door knob and lock needs to be replaced. It was very difficult to lock with the key and from the inside, In fact, I never really felt that it was securlely locked. I took valuables with me when leaving for the day because I was unsure of how secure it was.The location is perfect. It is "off the beaten path" but still an was drive to Sisters and Bend. Very quiet and picturesque.
We are unsure of what the guest found in the bed sheets and apologize for whatever it was they found. This has not been an issue before or since. We have taken care of the door knob. Thank you!
Wonderful cabin in secluded area!
My significant other and I spent a couple of nights here for New Year's Eve and we were generally very pleased. The cabin was in a great location with a beautiful view of the mountains. It was secluded enough that my dog was able to roam freely around the property and we were regularly greeted by a family of deer wandering by; however, it was just a quick drive to Sisters and several restaurants and amenities.
The home itself was clean and comfortable for two nights. There were plenty of fresh towels and a comfortable bed. However if staying for longer, I would suggest bringing your own amenities (soap, pots/pans, etc.) because those supplied were fairly limited. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this spot for a short visit to Bend or Sisters.
Great small space for a coupe!
We had a great time making this our home base for our trip to Bend and the surrounding area!
Sweet little efficiency cabin
Nice little efficiency in a beautiful location. Not too roomy but you're not going to this place to spend your time indoors! We met the owners who are very nice people and take good care of their property and take pride in it. We'd happily stay there again.
Bend is a beautiful little town and understandably crowded with tourists during the summer. It was so nice to have a quiet place to retreat to just 20 minutes up the highway at days end. The snow-topped mountains are stunning and easily visible from the deck. Our little dog enjoyed morning & evening walks on well-maintained roads with very few cars.
Beautiful Views in the Sagebrush
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Sage Bunkhouse. The bunkhouse sits on a lovely little ranch between Sisters and Bend with glorious views of Mt. Bachelor, Broken Top, and the rest. The owners are very nice and friendly and live on the property. It has pretty much everything you would want: grill, stove, comfy bed, porch for sitting, beautiful views, solitude, AC. The location is prime if you like a bit of solitude and plan to fish, hike, or do any other outdoor activity in the Bend/Sisters area. It is about 10 minutes to Sisters and roughly 25 minutes to Bend.
