Loved our stay here!
We were two families of four each staying at the house, and spent most of our time on the lake, using the pedal boat, paddle board, and kayak as well as roasting marshmallows in the fire pit on the beach. The house has a nice open upstairs space with a bunk and a full bed which the kids loved, as well as a sun porch with two twin beds (which serve as day beds) and a table with plenty of space to play games and cards. The family room has a lot of seating with two couches and chairs, and a beautiful stone fireplace, and provides a wonderful escape to read. A small tv room off the family room with couch also provides a cozy space, and there is a dollhouse there as well as sweet Swedish designed items throughout the house. We all appreciated the art work, paintings, and sketches hung throughout the house. There are also four other bedrooms in addition to the bunk room, which gave us plenty of options. The kitchen/dining area is large and open and enters onto the patio where we grilled and watched the sunset each night. The surrounding area is beautiful as well, so morning/afternoon jogs or bike rides (bikes in garage) are idyllic.
Beautiful house and property
We had a great time at Anne's house. The house is beautiful and has everything you need.
Beautiful slice of Lake Champlain
Its a beautiful piece of property, with amazing sunsets to view. The house is well suited for a family vacation. Well appointed in its decor and lay out.
A couple of quirks, it has only 1 shower and the other bathroom is just a bath. It also has a wonderful fireplace but guests are not allowed to use it, what a shame for cold nights.
The owner is lovely and very eager to please. I would def return to this house again.
