Large comfy beds await you at the end of a day of sight seeing and experiences. Light filled rooms add to the relaxing atmosphere of our home. The cook's kitchen welcomes your purchases from the nearby farmer's markets.
The master bedroom has a king bed. The second bedroom is a queen bed with connecting bath to a room with an IKEA double bed. And there's a cot that can be used as well that is a twin size.
The master bathroom is on the hall and a few steps from the MBR. Both baths have been updated in the last two years.

About Bridgett Luther
I'm a transplanted Southerner who loves sharing her home. When I'm not traveling with my husband to see my grown children I run a consulting business helping young companies bring their products to market. I've run two non-profits and spent five years working in California state government. My husband was born in California and worked in D.C. We moved back here in 2003 for his job with a national land conservation organization where he does their PR. I'm a bit of SF promoter and love to share my special places with you.
Bridgett Luther purchased this Condo in 2005
Why Bridgett Luther chose The Castro
Because we are on a corner we get lots of light. The views are amazing. Get up one morning and sit in our living room and watch the sun rise. The rooms are spacious and for a 100 year plus home it feels very up-to-date. Our neighborhood is so convenient and many things are within walking distance. So do the tourist things but also just enjoy our neighborhood.
What makes this Condo unique
We looked at many places before deciding to buy this condo. We just love the light. The ease of so many things that are close by - amazing coffee shops, a great yoga studio, two great grocery stores (be sure to check out Bi-Rite) and close to the park for long walks.

Fantastic, spacious and very comfortable house with every amenity you could possibly desire in an amazing location. The view! Wow! Our family of 5 loved Bridgett’s place and we only wish our vacation allowed for more days in San Francisco. I can’t recommend this house highly enough. Thank you to our hosts for allowing us to experience this beautiful city from such a sensational base. We didn’t want to leave!
The PERFECT home base for visiting San Francisco
I can’t say enough good things about this condo. I took more time than usual choosing a place for our week-long spring break visit to San Francisco because I was traveling without my husband and wanted to feel very safe and centrally located. My 2 teenagers and I found this to be the perfect spot for us. The condo is absolutely spotless, beautifully decorated, and so very comfortable! The views from the living room are spectacular. It has all the charm of a 100-year-old home with every modern amenity you would need or want. It is located a short walk to public transportation and many markets and restaurants with friendly proprietors. Having a washer/dryer in the unit was a bonus and meant we could pack lightly. The owner, Bridgett, has left a notebook with very clear instructions on everything as well as some wonderful suggestions for the neighborhood— which is very clean and safe and charming. We loved all the paint colors and little gardens of succulents on this block and the surrounding blocks. Sightseeing around SF is fun but exhausting, and we relished returning home every evening to a spacious, comfortable and homey condo. We didn’t cook — but you certainly could; the kitchen is huge and well-stocked. Instead we ordered carry-out almost every night, played board games, watched the NCAA college basketball tournament on the big flat-screen TV, and then slept soundly in the privacy of our own bedrooms. Every morning we woke up refreshed and ready to tackle the sights again. Bridgett is available if you need her, but her instructions were so thorough we didn’t need a single thing all week. This rental has spoiled us! With an active family I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in SF, and we look forward to returning.
Thank you for your wonderful review. We love our home and glad you did as well. Hope to see you again.
Beautiful and spacious place in excellent location
We - family of 4 - stayed for 3 weeks and absolutely enjoyed the place. You can see parts of the skyline of the city from the living room window while relaxing in a nice comfy sofa. We were missing nothing, all kitchen items and blankets, towels and even laundry and dishwasher detergent were available. The owner even supplied muni-cards for public transportation. The owner replied quickly to questions while we were trying to figure out how to deal with parking. She offered several solutions, but as parking with no time restrictions is available one block away (though up a steep hill), we were o.k. Within the city we never used the car because there are several buses stopping within a block's distance, and we could also walk to the market street area. We enjoyed the two local city parks that offered wide open amazing views of the city (note, these require walking up classical steep San Francisco city streets, but for sure worth the effort). We'll come back again.
Lovely, large property perfect to unwind in.
After a busy day in an unfamiliar city - this is the perfect home to relax in!
Glad you enjoyed our home!
Perfect place to stay in SF
We are a family (3 kids 7-4- 2 and 2 adults). This place is just perfect: it offers space for a family, it is very quite, close to several bus and metro stations, next to park/ games for kids or areas to visits by walking distance, with an amazing view downtown San Francisco.
Brittney offered us help, advice and let us some guides about SF.
We really enjoyed our stay in SF and this place contributed to it.
Yes! It's perfect for families and especially for those with children. So glad you enjoyed your time in San Francisco.
Our neighborhood is amazing. What to do: 36 hours San Francisco – and watch the video! New York Times Where to go: For coffee: We like Repose. at 262 Divisadero. It’s just coffee and a small selection of pastries. OR you can walk further down the street to the famous, The Mill, 736 Divisadero Street. They’ve been written up in the NY Times several times as being “what’s wrong with the “techification” of SF” with their $4 coffee and $6 toast. But both are delicious. The toast is thick and homemade – they even grind their own flour. Worth a visit. If you want a Starbucks or a PEETs. They are around but not nearly as close. You can Google them. To eat: Tons of reviews here on YELP and here are some personal notes: Easy and not too expensive: For simple $2.50 sandwiches, fruit, crackers, sodas, milk, cheese or eggs. I recommend Courtneys at 101 Castro. Go out our front door and take a left. At the end of the street, take another left. You’ll see Courtneys at the corner of Castro and 15th. They only take cash. Duboce Dog Park Café, 2 Sanchez. Great place for breakfast or lunch right down the hill past the train station across from the park. Delicious homemade soups. Sit outside and watch life go by. Great Mexican Food, Little Chihuahua, 292 Divisadero. Best in the city unless you trek over to the Mission District. Try the burritos. For the most amazing grocery store ever, hop on down to Bi-Rite, 550 Divisadero. The have whatever you want for a short stay, beer, wine, great takeout, fresh produce, cheese and the best ice cream in the world! Try the Salted Caramel. Another close grocery store is Falettis , 308 Broderick (still within walking distance, but there’s also parking there if you have a car). Also 4505 Barbeque, 705 Divisadero, is really good brisket and hamburgers. The seating is outside so bring a jacket and expect a line. A little nicer evening meal can be found at Ragazza 311 Divisadero. It was featured in the article in 36 Hours Divisadero in the Sunday New York Times. They don’t take reservations but the wait is usually pretty reasonable. They are known for their pizzas but there’s much more waiting for you – and it’s so close!
