The updated kitchen includes exposed brick and full appliances. Also on the first floor is a bedroom that could also be arranged as an office or playroom. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and a beautiful bathroom with claw foot tub, separate shower, pedestal sink and chandelier. Wood floors throughout. The lower level has been finished off and includes a large family room, full bathroom, along with laundry/utility room. Full backyard includes 1.5 stall garage and children's play set with swings and slide.
Children's items are also available including toys, booster seats, crib, toddler bed, blankets, baby bath, strollers, bikes, scooters, wagon, etc. Backyard is large for Minneapolis standards and includes a great play set with swings, slide, and picnic table. Gas grill on the back porch is available, as are a men's and women's mountain bike. Neighbors often gather for impromptu barbecues and happy hours.
Kingfield is largely a residential area of single-family houses on tree-lined streets. There are several nearby commercial corners and the neighborhood hosts a summer Farmer’s Market and an annual art show. Kingfield is well served by bike lanes, transit and has easy connections to downtown and the rest of the region via I-35W. Car, bus, bike, and on foot are all frequent modes of transit you will have access to in this vibrant, friendly, walkable neighborhood that is very close to downtown.
